Would make more sense if we just waited it out and signed him January, but yeah, depends on whether or not we could make a deal with Everton. They know he'll be a lot less worth in January, so could potential give us some leverage. Not a lot of time left to make a deal though. I reckon January would be more reasonable.

I dont believe for a minute we'd offer that much. We'd be effectively loaning him for 4-5 months. I'd be surprised if Levy offered them more than £5m at that point given that we could just wait a bit and pay nothing
