Unsung hero
Great run for the 1st goal and 2 assists

I still think he's vulnerable to a strong press but, as you say, he's only going to get better. He has been an excellent signing. Taken to the pace of the league like a duck to water. I'm excited to watch him develop further over the next couple of seasons.
Like most players thenI still think he's vulnerable to a strong press but, as you say, he's only going to get better.
Yeah, fair point. But what I meant was more that Bentancur's style of play means that he can look awful when it's not coming off -- when he gets caught in possession or when the one-touch passes are being picked off. Whereas a more conservative midfielder like Hojbjerg won't look as bad.Like most players then

True, but that's just because he's been brick / knackered / whateverHojbjerg has looked plenty bad at times this season.
Good turn around from his lack lustre performances over the last few matches. His one touch passes are amazing. Speeds up things through midfield so much.

Man this guy is slick. As close as possible to first touch perfection and almost always playing a first time pass when every other midfielder we have would need a second touch. So slick, efficient and speeds up our play.

He doesnt stop the ball like so many, he's prepared to let it run if it's right to do so, makes things much quicker.
for me the only automatic starters in the team:
Kane
Son
Romero
Lloris
And Bentancur

Who would you start instead of dier? Perisic is one of the best lwbs in the world. Bissouma is superior to skipp (for now) and hojbjerg.
