So happy Richarlison got the goal. Imagine if he gets a hatrick and the winner at the Emirates - left foot, right foot and bullet header.
Carlsberg and all that...

Correlation or Causation ?..and interestingly, the assists were as follows:
Perisic - cross from the left
Hojbjerg - cross from the left
Son - cross from the left
Perisic - cross from the left

It will keep someone happy for a bitBleeped if i know...i'll wait for someone else to go look back at his goals with Everton...
He probably shouldn't start the NLD. It will be a very different match to the one we played Vs SU. A line breaking Son makes a lot more sense on paper than Richy does. Arsenal are not going to sit as compact, there will be spaces to run into and that's something specialises in.So happy Richarlison got the goal. Unlucky not to score with the shot that hit the post too. Was that another great Alisson save?I think this deserves a bump because I actually thought Richarlison played great against Liverpool. He had much more purpose on the left it seemed, and his run to set him off to assist Son was really good. He saw Maddison had the ball and decided to gamble that he would be spotted. I'd be happy to see Richy starting again at LW.
Did well on the left, but also up against their weakest point. Personally I think having Johnson back will be good and I mostly think of Richarlison as an emergency kind of option on the left.
Is he? I think they are possibly very comparable with Johnson possibly having the bigger upside. At worse they are a similar level.Richarlison is a better player than Johnson, good to have the options of pace but I think we need to temper expectations of Johnson

Right now, the only thing (proven) Johnson has on Richi is pace, perhaps you are right on the upside.
Richi is high energy, can score, can assist, probably the best player in our squad with his head/aerial threat. Yes, it hasn't worked out for him for us so far, but the guy who leads the line for Brazil at WC's is a more proven quality than Johnson's couple of PL games (and Wales representation)
Johnson's best return so far from the LW in the PL is 8 goals, very similar to the kind of numbers Richalison puts up from LW.
Johnson is faster and is probably a better dribbler. Richalison playing striker for a failing Brazil means absolutely nothing. I'm not saying Johnson is better, just I really don't see much of a difference in terms of level. In his short Spurs career so far Johnson has looked the far more threatening player and that's been in less than 90 minutes.
It's a good thing to have such contrasting styles available as options, but I wouldn't be shocked or surprised if Johnson gets the nod ahead of Richalison as he has done in the SU and Arsenal matches. His game suits the Ange's LW play more.

I think he has done ok ( not great but not as bad as some fans try to make out), i hope he will be given more time to show his ability ( thankfully it seems he will under Ange)
Like all players he needs to play regularly, all the training in the world doesn't get your rhythm right or team play connected. Always difficult for forwards and being sub is even hard as the expectation is that you personally change the game.
