Sanctions so far have only effected limited people or companies. Sporting events being moved from russia the main exception.

Also there is no gain only loss from it all, as I said earlier the world's pretty much allowing Russia to walk in and do their thing and let it run because the collateral damage of that is unfortunately for Ukraine far less than a full blown war.

BBC update said Zelensky has proposed ceasefire talks.
So yeah let’s hope that Putin can come down from his murderous high and recognise he now has to deal with a nation of tinkled off Ukrainians and work out something that works for them.
Hopefully, this is an end to the bloodshed, chaos and destruction.
