So basically, our first team is not gonna be up to speed any time soon, whilst Arsenal and Chelsea are going to probably start better than the rest.

If Darren Bent can knock in a few we'll be fine...Looking forward to the usual over reaction to the Roma game ranging from "we're going to win the league" to the usual "relegation fears" I blame Levy.
Roma v Tottenham HotspurIs our game on tv tonight/tomorrow morning ??
Winks may not be ready, did not go to USA, likewise Onomah. So may have to start Sissoko. On the plus side Kane is eager to come straight back in, which would mean Lamela switching to RM and Moura dropping back to the bench.
Poch quotes in US earlier today:
"Harry is doing his recovery work in London," said Pochettino. "He’s doing well after his injury and we’re waiting for the evolution and we hope he can join the group as soon as possible, but at the moment he’s out of the group. We need to assess him every day."
"Josh is part of our plans, he’s injured and doing his recovery with Harry Winks, that’s why he’s not here."

2 points from 8 games... 2 points from 8 games... Now where have I heard that before?Haha, I remember everyone went nuts after that game, "we're going to be a real threat this year" etc. Then 2 points from 8 matches.

It is good to see us playing against the big European teams in pre-season friendlies for the last 3 years...Regardless of the results, playing against the big teams in the pre-season seems to be having positive impact on us as we have finished in top 3 in the league for the last 3 years.
Fortunately for us margarine is off the shopping list for the canteen so there's less worry of our player getting divorced in Maine.
