I honestly beleive has Stephen Carr come through at Man Utd and Gary Neville at Spurs, Carr would be viewed as the Prema best ever RB.

But Walker is the one here.

Carr was incredible. Plagued by injuries or maybe a virus(?) at the end. Then left to win trophies like the rest of them but ended up relegated (finally got one when Brum beat the Gooners in 2011 IIRC)

But there’s only one answer and if Kyle Walker doesn’t get 100% of the votes I’ll be shocked.

I actually think the differential between Walker and Corluka is not as high as maybe some are remembering. Walker obviously had the big advantage physically in terms of strength and pace, but in terms of being an actual footballer a lot of those attributes actually favoured Corluka. A better passer, a better crosser, way better positionally, Walker relied heavily on his acceleration and even just being steady on the ball Walker was a multiple brain farts player.

I thought Corluka was great, I thought Carr was great, I actually really enjoyed Chimbonda at times!

It feels really obvious that Walker for the length of time he was here and what we achieved is probably the vote, but I also feel like I’m going to end up just voting in Pochs team here… and I feel like there should be some enjoyment in this too, as opposed to just the out and out highest achiever.

So I’ll go for Corluka here to be a little bit different and try and get some representation.

Fun threads by the way, gives me something to really consider!

Def between Charlie and Walker. Notable mention for Carr.

It's Walker though for me, incredible

I actually think it's S. Carr. He had an amazing engine. Up and down the right hand side for 90 minutes. Solid defensively (in an average team) and dangerous going forwards.
He didn't have walker's (speed, I mean who did?) and he didn't have Charlie's high level technical ability... but he wasn't far off. But his all round, all action package made him the best for me.
Injuries in the end caught up with him too soon in his career.

Sir Alex wanted him so badly and was constantly snooping around. But I think the injuries prevented a proper offer coming in.

Charlie and Walker played in better spurs defences and teams.
