The strange thing is all window no leaks …. Now it’s the end of the window and everyone knows out business

Agents with a player that wants to leave or a club that want's to make room for another signing throwing bones to their journalist contacts. There's most likely a lot more going on that we aren't hearing about.

David Ornstein talked about it on a podcast. He spends a lot of time just keeping in touch with his contacts and sharing information, be it a scout, DoF, agent or just part of someone's entourage. Sometimes he gets stuff he can publish. Towards the end of a window is obviously when stuff starts to happen and moving more quickly than usual.

Definitely

Genuione question. Did they make Levy's travel plans public? We've heard more about him this window than the previous three (flew to seal Kinskly, apparently 'determined' to get Gomes, on a plane for Tel)...
It probably wasnt true at all. He's probably been in the Bahamas all week. Like Lloris reading all about his travels round europe, when he was just sat in a restaurant with his family

No
I don’t think they did
I don’t think levy even traveled
Was reported by Romano who has got a lot of stuff wrong but because he does get the final things right is “trusted”
He is a failed reporter and has cornered the market in monetising stories
Agents use him
Clubs use him
Win win for him

OK. But why would such a specific thing be said? I don't listen to any of them really, bar Ornstein who seems to be careful before he says anything. I laughed when I heard 'Levy was on a plane' frankly...

Because it gets a lot of clicks and retweets
He is the football equivalent of Donald trump

Again, it seems that we disagree. You feel Levy is being 'placed' by clickbaiters, I feel he and his see/saw potential opportunities too 'transfer-wash' his current public reputation.
Again, all good.

I don’t see how this creates good PR for him at all
It’s made the club he owns look worse

It falls apart because we didn't sign the player. Is it possible that the thought was this deal was done? Special relationships and all? To your point, perhaps keep the victory lines for post-deal (as in Kinsky).
