Politics, politics, politics (so long and thanks for all the fish)

He certainly misjudged how bitter and resentful the EU are about us leaving. They are the soon to be ex wife burning our clothes on the front lawn after spending the previous 40 years spending all our money and never putting out.

We should carry on walking down the street, put some aftershave on and head out and look for some sexy Brazilian's and Koreans to hang with.

I wish this is what would happen. But it won't.

The Brazilian's and Koreans are a polite and interesting bunch who are outwardly looking and prepared to chat to the cool interesting silver fox sat at the bar.

The ex wife does not deserve to keep the house, she got her settlement 4 years ago. We showed plenty of interest in her during the marriage? Obeying her rules when friends in similar marriages never bothered obeying the rules. Constantly taking her out for dinner when all we wanted was fish and chips and a quiet night in.

Did you call in to LBC the other day, do you hate Luxembourg?

I have never in my life called a radio station.

I listen to absolute radio but not very often. You may resume trying to undermine my position by linking to me to what I imagine was a bit of an idiot calling in, or a remainer calling in pretending to be an idiot so as to undermine a position they did not agree with.

So you believe in conspiracy theories too? No shocks there.

If was the EU who told us up front we could have the Canada deal as an "off the shelf" option.

Once they realised we were actually serious about leaving they then withdrew that deal.

Always the EU’s fault. It’s a negotiation - and they hold most of the best cards. What does anyone (bar self-important Brits) expect?

Now we will probably “reclaim our sovereignty” by operating under WHO rules.

I was struck by the images of Johnson at the Brussels dinner; a man who stumbles over single words in the same way poor speakers normally stumble over sentences. Looking at him, and listening to him, I suddenly realised that the rest of the world must now look at us like we look at Trump’s America - how did you vote him in, and how did you dig yourselves into this mess?

This has become then whining cry of Leavers. They offered us Canada and nasty EU took it away. Boohoo!!!

It is utter nonsense and illustrates their deluded position. Firstly, the Canada-EU trade agreement does not include financial services (or any services). So a Canada deal wouldn’t work for the UK. We’d loose out on all the financial free trade. Secondly, we’re right on the door step of the EU. If we’re to have open free access to the Eu market it means something. We can pop goods onto a lorry and a few hours later they’re in the single market. Canadian companies can’t do that. So the EU would want different rules for us to have free access. Furthermore, Canada don’t have a history of breaking international agreements. The EU need a mechanism to protect their market if the UK messes about reneging on agreements as it has over Ireland.

I just find it funny when Leavers, who supposedly wanted autonomy, start to blame the external EU. Responsibility lies solely with those in the UK who promised all the benefits of Brexit, they were always flimflam.
