Pape Matar Sarr

Honestly, once he started getting game time, he's stayed in and around the first team fairly consistently. Had some really good games throughout but it's nice to see our persistence paying off. I'm very happy with how he's playing for us, as I think he deserves to be playing in the CL.

Today
Goal #1 = Sarr to Richie to Johnson
Goal #2 = Sarr to Richie to Palhinha

Last week
Goal #3 = Sarr to Johnson

He's doing well that boy
Very much doing well. And getting some key involvements. If he can keep delivering that with a good frequency along with everything else he does so well he's an immense player.

"Quantity has a quality all of its own" - usually attributed to Joseph Stalin.

Sarr may not be the most creative or skillful player on the ball, but if you can run more and time your runs well, get into more of those situations - quantity has a quality all of its own.

Also remembering that quote from (I think) an assistant being asked about the Leicester midfield two in their 4-4-2 system. He said they played with a midfield three, Drinkwater in the middle and the Kante to the left of him and Kante to the right of him or something like that.
