***OMT - Tottenham vs Galatasaray***

He’s looked pretty average every time he’s played. Was way over hyped pre season.

I thought he looked really good in pre season, and have high expectations of the lad, but he hasnt really hit the ground running like Gray has for instance.

This is the worst looking back 5 I've seen for a while. Gray doesn't look anywhere like a LB. He is hopelessly out of his comfort zone playing out of position. Forster doesn't look like he should be keeping Austin out of the side, and Spence out of the UEFA squad. Porro doesn't look strong enough either. Then you have the 2 guys in the middle. Dragu is having his own little mare, and we all know Davies isn't going to rescue him in any foot race just like the second goal. It's also fair to say that the lads in front, especially Son, Madds and Johnson aren't helping their defenders play well.

Perhaps it's one of these games where Ange isn't exactly letting his second string play to their own strengths. It all looks a bit awkward, and we should be playing more direct rather than trying and play 5-a-side from our goal to theirs.

I'm not sure either. But I would want more strength and movement in for the 2nd half.

Could bring Udogie on and move Gray to CM to see what he can do there.

Bentancur, Sarr and/or Kulusevski could all come into CM to try and get us linking up better.

I would have played one of the other goalies.

Djed --- Drags --- Davis --- Reg

Biss ---- Grey

Johnson ---- Maddison ----- Son

Or a team similar to this, something a bit more solid in midfield.

But we can't, because we shot ourselves in the foot by not adding players to the list for stupid unknown reason.

Sarr and Bentancur for Maddison and Bergval we don't need creativity, they're so open we need control in the middle.
Actually an entertaining half. Still plenty in this for us.
Also hook Forster doing my head in knowing he has the agility of an sloth.

Forster has been fine, could've been 5 or 6 if it wasn't for him.

FFS Bergvall - he is so off it. He has to come off at half time.

Whilst I do agree, Maddidon has also been pretty bad. It's not possible to carry two midfielders of their style whilst both are not quite at it - But at least we have seen Maddison's ability to step it up, I haven't any if that from Bergvall so far this season, even when he finds a teammate he does so in a way that breaks that player's stride.

Obviously early days and he's a young player blah blah blah but it is not happening so far.

Poor half, partly cost of necessary rotation, partly poor individual performances. Part Dragusin, Maddison and Bergvall I thought.

Hopefully we'll improve in the second. Ange won't be pleased.

Felt for Bergvall. 18, that game, nothing coming off for him. But he probably needs to come off either at half time or early on the second if he doesn't improve. Maddison and Dragusin just need to improve.

Any half decent goalie would have done the same, but a younger more agile goalie might have saved the first and we would have gone in, 2-1, instead of 3-1....
Would be more worried about the rest of the team rather than a keeper might have saved a great shot. A decent defender doesn't lose his man like Dragusin. Midfield non-exsistent. Son poor. All more of a concern than Forster.
