omt tottenham v tromso

Quick video interview with Spurs fan David Husk at a sports bar in Tromsø. Pretty sure I've met him in Bricklayers on more than one occasion, but my memory tend to get a bit blurry after a few post match beers:

To be fair, this lot hammered Rosenberg not too long ago and shouldn't be under-estimated away. I don't think AVB thinks a win will impress anyone, but a defeat would be a disaster, for him personally and the club.

I disagree to some extent. A win would be great until Sunday, then actually if we fail to beat United on Sunday it will become another stick to batter the manager with [shouldnt have put any energy into getting a win in a meaningless fixture].

A defeat, even a hammering, would still be meaningless, a stat but not really pressure. Losing 5-0 to Tromso tonight if we field the kids will be significantly less of a disaster than

City 6 Spurs 0
Spurs 0 Saudi Sportswashing Machine 1
Spurs 0 Stratford Running Track FC 3

I'm hoping tonight is a chance for some of the squad midfielders to weigh in with a few goals, and Soldado to get a nice easy hat trick. But if it looks like a battle in anyway, bring him off and stick Sig up front. He must know how to score in the snow.

Priority tonight is dont get anyone injured, dont get anyone arrested, and be fully focussed on the United match. As things stand, they may have had a morale boosting win but their Wednesday game should be more zapping on them than our Thursday one.

Quite frankly if Soldado doesnt score tonight I'm not sure he will score against anyone.
Ideal chance to get his mojo up and running

The forecast says no. I'm two towns over and it's quite calm now. However, in Norway that's about 1200 km or 750 miles.

You're not joking. I had a quick look at the map - talk about sparsely inhabited. Still, I'm sure there is much to be said for the desolate loneliness of north Norway.

------------- Friedel
Naughton Dawson Chiriches Fryers
-------- Capoue Dembele
Townsend Sigurdsson Chadli
------------ Soldado

Subs: Archer, Vertonghen, Fredericks, Holtby, Lamela, McEvoy, Coulthirst

Fun comebacks for Fyers and Chadli.

If this is the line-up I would be very interested in how this pair mesh.

This is the lineup. Formation is just my guess. It could just as well be:

------------- Friedel
Naughton Dawson Chiriches Fryers
-- Sigurdsson Capoue Dembele
-- Townsend Soldado Chadli

@SpursOfficial: Our team tonight: Friedel; Naughton, Chiriches, Dawson, Fryers; Capoue, Dembele; Chadli, Townsend, Sigurdsson; Soldado.

Lamela to get a run out for a few games in the league?

Bloody hell. Good looking side on paper. Thought the same v City though. So that's 9 changes. Capoue and Dembele could be a very strong pairing indeed.
