It's a criminal offence rather than a civil tort, so it comes down to whether the police and CPS think it's worth it. Neither are idiots. Both are influenced by media pressure in cases which attract publicity.

As a curosity, it seems like the law should include another word as well as "perceived". Comonly perceived, or perceived by a community etc.

He can be very effective and has been of late.

Arsenal did a very good job of closing down our options for passing it out from defence and we struggled to retain possession. Sissoko is not what you need in that situation. It is why Aurier was poor too, he was constantly being caught out of position and his lack of concentration was exposed.

Arsenal executed their game plan very well. I think that we can expect to see more sides try the same.
Agree with this. Arsenal was annoyingly good. They were well up for it.

We don't do well under the high press. We never have and it does not take a tactical genius to see that from the reviewing the vids. This was a game made for (a fit) Dembele. I'm not sure we'll see that guy again, but unless we find someone who can break the lines we are always going to struggle in games like this. Hitting a longer ball more often than not just concedes possession.

Being from an ethnic back ground myself I have often been amazed how friends and work colleagues could make racist comments around me and then say “but you’re ok.”

Unfortunately unless you have been offended you can't necessarily understand the impact.

Don’t know if it’s Brexit related but there definitely seems to be more vocal racists at the moment. Previously the racist minority kept it to themselves, but seem emboldened now.

I don't think racism is worse; it's just that social media and constant access to phones and a vehicle to vent makes it that any racists acts are more out in the open and reported quicker than even ten years ago

Winks for Sissoko would've been the best option. Should have happened at least on the hour mark, if not earlier. That, and Lamela on for Son, and I think we would've done better in the final half hour.

I assume you meant to write Moura?

Arsenal pressed like Liverpool and City do to us quite regularly. We just fall apart under the pressure. I don't know what the answer is but it needs an answer to win the big games.

How can people vote for Dele as mom? He completed 6 passes in the entire 2nd half, and 4 of them were from kick offs!

Yes maybe. Sissoko wasn't too bad but Winks would have retained possession a bit better I think.

Upon reflection I am guessing that fatigue did play a part. The Goons had a full week to prepare (played this reserves in the EL) and their previous game was against Bournemouth. We’d had Cheat$ki, Inter and then this - also after that run of games a month or so ago - and it seemed like one high intensity game too many. I know some peeps will think that shoudn’t make a difference, they’re highly paid professionals and back in the day they’d play four times a day in sleet on broken glass with a boulder for a ball, but I think it is a legit factor (EVERYBODY played that way back in the day).

Mods, can you at least get your acts together and punish this disgusting OMT with the required avatar change.
