Well Its about getting your mentality spot on regarding how you go into games...coupled with how you react to a set-back...eg losing. to answer the question 'what do we do if we lose' We act like demented ferrets getting our training and preparation tip top for the next game so we can put in a peformance and win....right the wrong straight away if you like...if that means minimal laughing around on the training pitch and deadly serious then so be it.
I agree with your sentiments about not letting things affect you to much......I just think we have an opportunity to go on a run of wins if we can pull something out of the bag saturday.
Dont get me wrong I wont be knee jerking if we do lose but I will be inconsolable for a bit.
In terms of self belief and confidence and to mould a winning team I dont think you can ever have a midset in which losing is bearable......Roy Keane must have been the most anoying person in training after a bad result....but he made damn sure that standards wouldnt drop and things would be turned around quickly.
Not that I think you need 11 players with his mentality....but there you go! I guess I want to win this very much and appologise if my posts come accross as a bit full-on.
Just really want to win this[-o<
Oh, I really want a win too...
