 Forster
Porro...Drăgușin...Davies...Gray
Bergvall...Bentancur...Maddison
Johnson...Son...Werner

I'll guess the team that (ish) started the last EL game, but not with Vicario unfortunately.

I like that team, but we have to play Bentancur in all midweek games now, so we can save Biss for the league.

I'd be tempted Moore over Son too. We need to preserve Son's legs, esp after his longhaul international break games.

Looking forward to this match, shouldn't be heart attack inducing stuff.

Roma are playing woefully ATM, only 1 win in Europe against Dynamo Kyiv who are rock bottom of Europa league. Haven't managed an away win in Serie A, not that their home form is much better. Also already on their 3rd manager this season which makes our own problems look decidedly first world.

Easy 3-0 win with the kids :)

Tyrese Hall at RB?

Surely, if we've just put Maeson King (LB) in the travelling squad to Manchester and Olusesi and Hardy in the actual match day squad, these 3 have best chance of playing. Obviously, along with Moore who is back from his illness.

Perhaps the absence of Dorrington at the weekend means that he is being primed to replace Dargu in this one.

I got the impression from Ange’s team updates before the City game that Mikey Moore might be out for a little longer.

Mikey will be still be out for a little bit of time as well. He was hit pretty badly by the virus, because he's young as well, we have to be careful. He's back in the building, but we're going to take out time with him."

Granted that was from last Thursday but it doesn’t sound to me like he’ll be back for this Thursday.

First time?

I can't make Thursday night now

If anybody fancies my ticket for a reduced price of £30 instead of the £60 I paid for it let me know in DM's and I'll transfer it over

I sit Block 252 Row 45, very good area and seat

Does that mean we are guaranteed a good result now? :D

I think those have mainly been brought along for the experience (as an alternative to just naming 3 GKs on the bench again!). I'm not sure they would ever have come on.

I just thought Hall is supposed to be the best DM/FB in the academy at the moment (alongside Abbott), so seemed a sensible pick.

I'm not sure Dorrington is still up-to-speed after his big injury lay off?

Roma did not play this weekend so they should be rested and been able to prepare for this game, I cannot believe Hall will ever play at RB he's too short, not defensively minded, he reminds me of Ardiles in style of play. I think it will be a tough game and we should use our subs well to save them for Fulham game.

You can guarantee that our lot will relax, take the foot off and generally tinkle about. Roma will offer little but score from a corner.
Hopefully we'll turn it around in the second half...I'll be there and I'll be loud but after Ipswich and how awful we were against Galatasaray, I'm not expecting anything other than a narrow victory by the seat of our pants...

Vicario is out....

We can confirm that Guglielmo Vicario has today (Monday 25 November) undergone surgery for a fracture of his right ankle.

The 28-year-old suffered the injury during Saturday’s Premier League victory at Emirates Marketing Project.

Guglielmo will be assessed by our medical staff to determine when he can return to training.

If they do they will be the 3rd team to score against at a corner this season.
