***OMT TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR vs Roma***

One thing about Ange in this game I have to mention is at least he was animated and going mad on the touchline at one point. It drives me mad when he stands there passively with his hands in his pockets shaking his head and doing nothing. At least he showed a bit of passion tonight

That is going to be a tough tough game. Ibrox is special, Forster played for Celtic...

I really worry about that game, they will be right up for it.
The combination of an English club, ex Celtic manager, ex Celtic keeper, they will run their legs off.
Having said that I've been offered several tickets because a lot of the fans are dreading it, but that could be a bigger motivation for the players.

Bit of a limp end. After the city game we were tired, but thought we might have seen it through. We were shagged from 55mins. Kulu should have only played one half after his exploits. Considering the state of our squad, with Davies and Dragusin - who looked commanding - we did well. Wanted to see more from Werner and Maddison. We had chances to put the game to bed, but didnt quite have the determination to seal it.
To be honest, when I saw the team I expected this type of performance - tired and sloppy. I'm actually not so disappointed with it, as to not change much of the lineup after a huge game against City is asking for this type of performance.

What is telling is that Ange clearly thinks there are massive holes in our squad still, because any time we play a team with quality better than FC Carrier bags he plays largely the strongest lineup. We don't have the squad to win this tournament and go for it in the League, and clearly Levy won't allow us to make certain sacrifices in the league so I don't see us winning this tournament....

I'd rather he showed a bit of nous.

2-1 up in garbage time and we are still trying to get the ball in the box, both Kulu and Werner had opportunities to get the ball in the corner.

We play so dumb sometimes.

TBF he can’t exactly bring in Richy and Oderbert who are exactly the kind you want in these games

Actually who was Ange going mad at? Was it Johnson for not moving quick enough?
He was shouting at Johnson, according to Ghoddle.
He was shouting something along the lines of
WHY ARE YOU COMING TO FEET, WHY ARE YOU COMING DEEP, GO LONG, STAY FORWARDS, GO FORWARDS

Indeed, to be fair the squad is suffering with injuries too. But Richi can't be relied upon for availability and I don't see Odobert as a real difference maker in the Europa League at the higher level this season, but I am very excited for his potential....

Once again our squad is stretched soooooo thin.
Injuries I have are, Vic, VdV, Romero, Richy, Odobert, Moore. Add Bentancur as an absentee for the Prem too. Seven significant players.
Destiny rested tonight I am guessing.

Turned out to be a blessing that we didn’t pip Villa to 4th spot as our first XI would be dead on their feet playing 180 minutes of PL + CL every week. Hopefully another 2 transfer windows will give Lange et al a chance to get our squad up to CL standard.
