I think we shouldn’t get carried away in terms of what it means for the season, but we should absolutely do in terms of potentially another trophy if we can hold on. So often we’ve had the brick end of the stick and been unlucky with the draw, or the bounce of the ball, the finest of margins not going our way. So I’m absolutely gonna enjoy the heck out of this winning feeling if we hold on. Other clubs have had their fill of it while we’ve been waiting patiently.

Just remember that the CL is the qualification phase of the Super Cup...

I think physical preparation at the elite level is such a factor that I don’t think it evens out. I’m still loving this, but I’m hesitant to get too excited about what it means for our season.

If we get through the first few months, and we’re competing in CL and PL, beating big teams and bullying the smaller ones without too much of an issue, I’ll allow myself to be excited about the second half of the season, and what it means for our general trajectory as a club,
