Good first half from us. Very encouraging, shame about their goal, other than that I´m pretty happy with this.

Been very ineffective, too slow to get on the end of anything and won nothing in the air. Skied his only good chance. We need a lot more from him, but his lack of pace and strength is really hurting our attacks in this game imo.

It is and is pleasing but better to wait until the end of the game. The other issue we seem to have developed this season is to be only able to play well for 1 half.

I'm not saying we'll lose, I'm saying we're in the business of starting well against Man Utd, failing to take chances and find ourselves losing when they take theirs at vital points of the match.

Hopefully doesn't happen today.
 
Moyes made the mistake of coming and pressing us instead of sitting back and letting us play in front of them. in a way he has foced us to play more attacking football and we look better for it. Paulinho in particular looks far more comfortable in this kind of game and position. Still problems sticking it away though.

Sorry but his general play has been very good today.

The game we were 3-0 up at half time and lost 5-3 was the only game i have ever taken my wife to, the c u n t.
 
Bobby will score, mark my words! Good first half, bar the Walker error and Valencia's runs, we ve been the better side by far. Free flowing football, that we must surely like. Given the number of players we're trying to settle, I would say we can't expect 4-0's all the way. Good first half, let's win this one, COYS!!
 
I think we are really unlucky to be behind - their right side is looking dangerous but other than that we have created the clearer chances.

If we keep this up for the second half we will be ok. And if our manager gets sacked on the back of that, it will be a disgrace :)
 
Good half. Paulinho seems to have been given instruction to stay much further forward and support Soldado and it's worked well a couple of times, though sometimes we get caught short in midfield. Lennon looking a menace, Chadli has been so so but then he played an hour in Norway, seems to want to run at Smalling. Encouraging signs.
 
Soldado's head looks wreaked trudging off there.

The equaliser can only happen to Spurs. Ridiculous.

agreed. very poor from him so far. then when he gets presented with chances to score he does nothing. no better than defoe
 
I think i know what will happen. They'll take Kagawa or Cleverley off for Fellaini and he will change the game for them (probably from a set piece) which will see them win 1-3.
 
Decent half, need to step it up second half. Man U haven't been at their best.
Moyes won't be happy with the lack of pressure they've put on our goal. Expect them to come at us hard.
 
Its been like watching a normal sours home game but in reverse. They are having more possession but we have created the better chances. Their best chance have both cone from Jones pressuring the ball in midfield and then feeding it wide. Lennon always has evra and is giving him a tough game.

For me chadli is a waste of space. Always cuts inside and is not tracking smalling well enough. Townsend on the left for me. Will also give Vets some cover. All their best attacks are coming down our left.
