With our lack of goals, if he can get himself into the box and get on the scoresheet, that's all we'll need from him. He'll contribute a bit defensively too.

I'm not thrilled with him as a player based on what I've seen so far. But, if he has a strength, it's making runs into the box. We may as well free him up to do that and see if we do any better as a result.

COYS, let's win the next 3 league games, starting with today, and get our season back on track!

It's like AVB is confused and thinking the previous formation isn't working and doesn't want to play a 2nd striker so he's gone for something inbetween. If he's unsure, how can they players be expected to perform.

Dembele is an ex center forward ...Im expecting , hoping, he gets forward alongside Saldado when he can ...Paulihno will interchange positions with him ...Why is everyone so rigid with their ideas in how we'll play in midfield ? COYS!!!!!!!
 
Not sure Paulinho has got the touch to play in#10 as opposed to Dembele who seems more obvious choice.
 
Good partnership on the flanks for us today. Lennon and walker and Chaldi and Verts know each other so well.
