We won’t beat Wolves, hopefully we can beat Stoke and then the league becomes easier. It’s really been a nightmare run. Leicester and Wolves, who are set up to beat big teams, at the end makes it incredibly tough. Aurier was the difference today.

Horrible performance. Really disappointed in it. Not once was I off my seat thinking we’d score or not once was I excited by us. It was just an abject, dreadful performance.

I don’t blame the players so won’t even get into individual performances. This ones on Jose and I hope he accepts that post match and doesn’t throw any player under the bus. Against the stronger teams I can see the logic in playing as we do but against anyone outside of Liverpool and City, I don’t believe it’s the right way to play.

We got what we deserved today and many more performances and results like this and things could turn nasty.

We needed a couple of fresh men today. Easy to say now! Doherty, Vinicius and Bale from the start.

We still haven't fully resolved our midfield issues. We don't have a strong partnership yet. Ndombele blows hot and cold, and Mourinho hasn't got him settled/playing the way he wants.

We played well against pool, and this was an unlucky loss, so I'm not too worried. Just need to use the squad to better effect.

Well they played counter after Aurier suicidal stupidity
Hence why we had more possession from then on
Everything came from countering
Aurier doesn’t make the mistake and I couldn’t see them scoring
So it yet again comes down to pure stupidity

Up until the penalty the pattern was normal, thought we conceded possession but actually had the better situations. We don’t have another gear when we need to make something happen, two players on the pitch who’s second touch is a tackle and one who is a passenger playing exhibition football.
