omt*** Tottenham Hotspur Vs Leeds United

How on earth is our club going into any game without a single striker in the 18 man squad?

when 1 striker is in Africa and the other is injured

yep, we could do with another striker tbh....if Fergie has 4, thats good enough for Spurs too

Id have to agree that it was bad keeping. If brad come out and makes him past then you have made the attacker do something, he may fluff it, what ever. But staying on your line puts no pressure on him to score on its an easy goal.

Its something we do at Spurs, and have done in my years watching them, we never ask the question, never put the onus on the other players. It always seems too easy for opposition players against us - at least make them work for their goal/assist and if they do great but the human mind can not deal with pressure very well.

I disagree. By staying on the line you make it a far more difficult choice for the defender.

If you come out it's simple, pass it across. If you don't, the striker has to make the choice and if he does pass it you have the chance to get across and try to make a save.

What is Huddlestone there for? i mean he's meant to be the creative force yet Parker is the one tracking back AND attempting the through balls.

We've got to get Bale and Lennon into the game/on the ball early, and work the flanks (although not sure who is going to convert any chances). The trouble is they know that and are dropping off and not giving is too much space behind. I think their pressing in the middle of the park, which is giving us problems at the moment, will slack off in the second half though.

Of course. He is not paid to watch balls go on in. If he rushes out, he scares the striker who rushes his shot and doesnt score.
