OMT - Tottenham Hotspur vs Eintracht Frankfurt

Yeah, I saw that - thanks! I guess it's hard to really gauge the level of a team in a different league, but if they really are on par with Bournemouth, we should stand a chance.
Of course we stand a chance! Yes we have had a poor PL campaign but some on here like to talk like we are the worst team in the world - this team finished below us in the league and we finished 4th two points off top despite our injury struggles during the majority of that league stage. We will give anyone a game in this tournament despite what some like to make out....

If we're at our best, then yes, definitely. I just hope we manage to keep it somewhat tight at the back as well. A damn shame Kulu isn't going to make it.

You make it sound good but at the same time I've watched us get turned over by virtually every decent side not in a crisis we've played this season. Even in the EL a lot of those wins were very unconvincing. Now to be fair I didn't watch Frankfurt's campaign so they may have similarly flattered to deceive, but yes I can understand the overall lack of confidence going into this match. We just haven't been particularly good this season and it doesn't feel like that about to change, but it is football and anything can happen.

Mate, Leicester turned us over ..

European matches are notoriously difficult, on our form it's literally delusion to believe we are going to win a 2 leg tie.

Yes, it's football, but I for one will be absolutely shocked if we made it past them.

Their result vs Ajax was great
Their other Europa results…
Good at home
Lost to every decent side away

Thursday April 10th @ White Hart Lane
20:00 GMT

Europa League quarter final 1st leg

Wouldn’t it be the most modern Spurs thing ever for us to win this cup? Club, team and coach in turmoil - we win our biggest trophy since 1984, coach is sacked while giving the finger to the fans. Absolute scenes as people celebrate and scratch their heads.

I’m here for it! Coys!
Dreamland...

Yeah, just saw the highlights from those games. They looked really good. Lots of good attacking players. We need to be on our toes for sure. Hope we get all the fans in the stands really singing for the boys.

I reckon you can get a lot of players sprinting faster when they are running without the ball
Very different doing it with the ball
Its way more difficult to run fast with a ball at your feet and in control. Its like when people used to criticise Chadli for not turning on the afterburners with the ball at his feet. Or even Johnson now, running with the ball at speed and in control is a whole different animal and not many players with genuine speed also have good touch and control.

I wouldn’t go as strong as you by saying it’s delusion to think we’ll win the tie but, like you, I’d be shocked if we made it through.

Don’t know a lot about Frankfurt but I expect us to make a game of it tonight and get beat second leg. I just have no confidence or hope in this team/manager at the moment. It’d be something if he did manage to turn this situation into a trophy but I really just can’t see it no matter how hard I try.
