***OMT*** Tottenham Hotspur vs Chelsea

But they didn't win it in the manner you're suggesting.

You're suggesting they won it like a Pulis Stoke of old, or better yet, a Don Revie Leeds.

They didn't win it like that. They won it because they saw out the sort of games we should have.
I don't usually do this mate but that's bollicks, they've been worse than any pullis team, though not as bad as Leeds.
Thay saw the games out by any means necessary, fouling, diving and time wasting.

Still not done with it TBH...the reactions have been astonishing. I think Poch is going to make this our Fergie moment, as he will build a siege-mentality from the whole thing. One other element to all this is that next season's games against them are going to be X-rated as I believe there will be a few carrying feuds.

In fairness, referees need to protect the game.
He has made it clear early-doors that two players, Walker and Ivanovich, are on warnings for yellows. Ivanovich cleans out Eriksen. Nothing. Costa elbows Vertonghen. Nothing. Mikel early elbow. Nothing. Walker, next challenge = yellow. And the pattern continued. How did Costa get off the itch at HT without a yellow at least? How did Ivanovich last the match? And how did Fabregas get away with any of his disgraceful behavior? I think what we learnt tonight is that this side will defend itself if no-one else will, and for that, I am proud. Yes, it was over the mark but the whole match was and tacotenberg set that bar. I know we shouldn't be reduced to knuckle-dragging, but if we hadn't have fought, we'd have lost that due to being beaten back into our shells by the cheating and dirty foul play. I have to say, when Dier went through Hazard at the end I was actually delighted. fudge him and fudge that entire brickty side. If only Mason had been more composed we'd won the match and the fight. I hope tacotenberg's lack of performance is noted and that he gets a demotion.

agreed, had the ref not bottled it in the first five it would have been a different game, as it was he gave the players the message that it was open season

I'm not sure many of their playing staff will be the same next season. I don't think Costa and Fabrigas will survive Conte's overhaul, and Hazard will go if a bigger club shows interest.

Quite disappointed if I'm completely honest.

Not becuase of the title. Despite all the sour grapes on here, Leicester fully deserve it this season. For one season, if you actually look at the points total, we can finish on a maximum of 76 points, hardly a usual title winning figure and despite the whole season, we still haven't beaten our record premier league points total and we're still realistically catchable by Arsenal.

We have also now drawn 3 of the past 5 games. Which isn't great when you're chasing a team.

Still, the disappointment had nothing to do with that. After going 2-0 up, we had an unbelievable chance to win there for te first time in 16 years. And I can't believe we let that slip to an average version of their teams. It would have been a big psychological boost to win at Stamford Bridge. I also can't quite believe after the impression of thr two seasons we've had, we're only 3 points ahead of Arsenal. We need 2nd place and we need to finally finish ahead of these fudges.

Anyway, very proud and happy with how the season has gone overall.

Well deserved win for Leicester and hopefully a very deserved second place for us in a couple of weeks time.

*F*ck you 3 consecutive Monday night games!! Another headache ridden Tuesday at work. Not helped by t.v and radio this morning. Worse off, mother-in-law found me passed out on the living room floor, thought I was dead... Oh and f*ck you Chelsea, brick club.

fcuk me - I'll be back when I've caught up with the last 40 pages.

Just in case there's something not been said .....

I want to know that Poch has Hugo, Toby & Son in his office today DEMANDING to know why they werent booked last night.

I wonder if any team has ever had 11 players booked but none sent off? Time for a google.

COYS.

I think you do Leicester a disservice Glasgow. I am gutted this morning but I can still recognize that they are a very good team. They press high up the pitch brilliantly and relentlessly. They are clinical in attack, putting away an extraordinary percentage of their chances Whatever you say about Huth and Morgan they are effective, they are not bullied at corners like we are. Make no mistake every team is guilty of holding to gain an advantage just watch verts have his arms around players at every set piece , watch dier hold on to players who go past him. As far as I could see yesterday we played like thugs in the second half (the other team played like cnuts but then they always are), that was not a glorious advert for our football. As I have already said Leicester deserve their title. Soo much class from our manager in congratulating Leicester yesterday can't have been easy. Take note London scum we are not going away with this man in charge. We will come for you again next season and this time we will finish the job.

If we don't finish above Arsenal that will kill me.

I didn't like how we reacted at all. We should have channeled our aggression into our football and not bone crunching tackles that were minutes late and blatantly obvious that they were committed out of frustration.

Let them hack us and wind us up. We should just get up, dust it off, and keep on playing our game. A team with a spine is not one that retaliates like for like, but rather one that doesn't let its opponents' tactics affect it. It's that kind of team that gets gets respect from everyone and can walk away with its head held high. Regardless of all the progress we have made, tonight we showed we're not that team yet. Here's hoping we become it in the seasons to come.

COYS!

While I wholeheartedly agree it was a shame that Dier's late challenge on Hazard only made him roll a few yards and didn't put him in row z.

7:48 and 10:10 - well played Eric, well played

Holy sh!t. I knew the challenge on 10:10 was bad but it's worse than I recall. It was a red card in itself. Absolutely hilarious to hack down that little c**t like that. That one rivals Lamela's stamp for me. Brilliant in such different ways.

We can't afford that steff we just need to beat those fudgekers home and away.

I had a bet on the draw in this game, the irony of lineker being the player who last won a game for us there and his connection etc, but what pains me here how we capitulated against a very average chelsea side, this is why leicester are deserved champions and we're not, "sexy" came out tonight like it did last week. I'm surprised people haven;'t made more over the substitution of mason over Son, would son have stuck that chance away. Its typical that Hazard reserves his ONLY performance of any note this season playing us but you don't let 2-0 leads slip if you're going to win titles.
What I LOVED was our entire starting 11 getting cards, I loved them putting the foot into them, nice guys finish last, like others have said, we need to employ more of the dark arts to intimidate players, so much of sport is mental, teams used to go to OLD trafford beaten before they got onto the pitch.
Still, great season and we didn't concede the league tonite, I can't wait to hear the Champions league anthem at WHL next season, we can win the league next year ;)
This wasn't employing the "dark arts" though. It was us getting frustrated by a team that did. I don't want to see us employ the dark arts ever. I want to see us being able to brush them off and stick it to the opposition by putting 3-4 goals past them, not getting more yellows than they did.
