***OMT*** Tottenham Hotspur vs Chelsea

Tonight showed how classless Chelsea as a club are. From the top, through the players to their horrible fans. The singing of Ranieri's name, the play acting, the celebrating in front of our fans, the fighting on the pitch.....the list goes on.

To be fair Hazard changed the game tonight when he came on, but where has he been all season? The only reason Fabregas was up for it was because he was playing against us. Costa is just a dirty cheating clam.

It depends on the time of the game. We had the lead and just needed to see the game out in the 2nd half. Up to about 60 mins we were on the edge but doing ok. We seemed to lose it a little bit after that. But once they equalise and after what has gone on over the previous 82 minutes? Nah I'm not having that - all bets were off as far as I was concerned. The game has gone, the title has gone and its time to take things into your own hands.
I would've made a beeline for that squealing little brick Hazard and snapped him in 2. The only shame is that 2-3 of our boys all had a nibble and failed to dish out a SERIOUS injury. I would've loved to see him or Fabregas end up missing the Euro's on the back of that. If Karma isn't running your way you have to take things into your own hands. I'm very very proud of the way we reacted tonight, we showed we won't be bullied and we left something on them. Beautiful.

Yes, our players will be better for tonight and it'll unite the squad. We have a very strong first 11 so as long as Levy backs Poch in bringing in the 3 or so additions we need then we can have another very good year next year - another title challenge and some fun in the CL. Add to that a big stadium being built and the future looks great. Can't say the same about our team London rivals who both have some rebuilding to do

Can't wait for next season to start!

Really can't see them doing well. Who was the last defending champs to put up a good show? Put that together with everyone will be gunning for them, and all the hype they will have to deal with. Along with the euros, CL and a slim squad because this lot are now undropable.
That's before surely a memo from the FA preparing the refs for the antics in the box.
Will do exceedingly well to get top 12 IMHO
ManU (06-09) and Chelsea (04-06) are the only PL winners to successfully defend their title this century and I expect Leicester to plummet as badly as Chavski did this season or Blackburn in 1995-96.

Surprised to see how few teams have retained their title over the years. Aside from Liverpool and ManU, only Portsmouth (48-50) plus Wolves (57-59) have secured back2back titles since WWII.

I bear Leicester absolutely no ill will, hope they continue to confound the doubters. We can only blame ourselves for not being quite good enough they deserve their title. Not enough room to hate them in my brain due to my pathological hatred of Bluescum, West Ham and the Arsenal. Each of those Cnuts have fudgeed us over in some way in recent times. We must finish ahead of all three this season.
I will congratulate any team that wins it playing good football. I'm not local so don't have the same tribal emotions you and a lot of the supporters understandably have, so if it ain't us I don't mi d if it's Arsenal, West Ham or Chelsea (well maybe Chelsea would hurt a little).
But I will not congratulate a team playing not just Hoof ball but Hoof player.
Leicester are cack and play a cack game. If this happened in any other of the top leagues we would all be tinkling ourselves.

Leicester will be top seeds. The seeding for the other pots is decided by the clubs' UEFA coefficients not league position. We are most likely to be in Pot 3 but have a small chance of being in Pot 2.

Is that so? Had no idea. I thought that leagues with 4 teams entering Champions League would have their top 4 spots deide the seeds but may well be wrong.

We looked so lackadaisical second half.So languid.
Is the tough training/pressing catching up with them?

I thought we just lacked some quality on the bench. Either another decent CM to go 4-3-3 and sure things up or a decent attacker to replace Son. 3 good additions in the summer in CM, AM and CF and we'll challenge again next year

It's so draining to win, and then everyone fights you tooth and nail the next year to knock you off your perch.

I'm afraid you've made the mistake of thinking that the UEFA (or any football organization) would actually come up with something logical that makes sense to the ordinary man.

You see, they never do that.

How else is a team like Leicester supposed to win the title? Should they go out and play it about majestically like Barcelona? Should they tiki taka their teams to death like one of the countless amounts of great Brazil teams?

Or if you are a side destined for a relegation scrap that have somehow found themselves against all odds top of the league just look to carry on doing what you're doing and hope for the best?

You make it seem like going out and kicking everyone guranatee's you the title but it doesn't otherwise we'd all be doing it...

Besides, I genuinely don't feel that Leciester have kicked everyone to pieces as you suggest... They may have played defensive football but they aren't like a Pulis Stoke as far as I'm concerned.

TV didn't show a replay, but how did Walker get a nosebleed? Showed him getting treatment the Terry getting booked. Were the two linked?

Would this be worse to take then losing on the final day of the season because Chelshea roll over for Leicester. Let's regroup now, finish in 2nd. And use this experience to come out flying from the very start next season. Because if you look at it, had we not started the season so slowly we'd probably be about level with them now.

He was caught up in a tussle with Costa on the byline. Something happened there that they didn't bother showing a replay of.

Really? So Huths hair pulling and fore arm smashes are ok? Vardys dives, drinkwaters and Simpsons constant fouling are a turn off to me.
I understand you point, it works for them, and in a dig fight at the bottom it's acceptable, but it's not at the top of the table. Ultimately that's the officials fault for turning a blind eye to eye it, but it doesn't make them any more worthy winners in my eyes.

Yes, it was odd at the time that Walker put his hand to his nose and then flicked something at Costa who laughed... I thought it was snot but it was blood, as Costa gave Walker a bloody nose as they fought each other. Seemed like we spent 30% of the game playing football and 70% trying to kick the opposition. It was like watching Leeds or Charlie Adam.

We didn't even land any good blows that injured them or caused them more than 20 seconds of discomfort, yet we got distracted and lost because of it IMO, we should have been wiser than that.

Masons miss was appalling. Could even have squared it to Eriksen to tap in it was a total mis-mash. Can't defend hitting it straight at the keeper from there.

That aside we've done it again. Stoke at home now Chelsea away 2 up and ended up drawing that's 4 points dropped. Added to last weeks shocking second half performance against WBA there's your title gone.

Chelsea? Not even worth talking about.

Meanwhile, the league really needs to do something about the BS that goes on in the penalty area on corners and free kicks.

Perhaps an additional official at each end.

It unfortunately played a big part in some important games down the stretch, for all sides (no sour grapes). The West Ham - Leicester game was a shambles. Dier being grabbed for Chelsea's first goal today.

The other guy got it wrong.

Top seeds are the CL winners plu s the winners of the 7 highest ranked leagues. Then it's coefficients

We have very little chance of being a secon seed

Like the stick guys in Europe that NEVER get involved?

Two incidents tonight proved what their tactics were tonight.

Hiddinck said they would be trying in all their matches.

They had one objective tonight. Not to lose. Full stop. It wasn't to win the match, just not to lose.

with 5 mins to go at 2-2 they take the ball to the corner flag, that is not a team looking to win, that is something you would do if you need a point to secure a title, or safe passage to the next round,etc;
Then, with last kick of the match, they have a free-kick in scoring range, Willian probably the best fk specialist this season with a chance to win it, kicks it to the corner.

That is the sign of a team that had only one objective, Spurs must not win.

I suppose we should thank them in one respect, I felt they could win it at the end, as it is they basically let us keep the point that secures our place in the Champions League Group Stages.
Enjoy having no European matches next season you Chav tw#ts
