It really is quite amazing when Sissoko is the guy who controls the ball and calms it down


We keep playing in the left back to run onto, that almost never results in a goal. Would like Eriksen to ping in a few from 23 yards
 
Fortunately/unforunately, we're past the stage when all we need from our players is effort.

I think he is genuinely trying his best and genuinely realises that he hasn't been up to scratch this season.

Anyway, ni point going into it now. Hope Foyth can make a difference.
Agreed, but we pretty much know what he is and what he isn't. 9 months ago he was the second coming, no one missed Walker and everybody thought he should take all free kick duties from Eriksen. Personally I don't think Davies is much better, but most seems to think he's "solid" so I accept being quite alone in that opinion.
 
What gonads is the BT commentator (Jenas?) talking about Moura being poor? His shots have been poor, yes, but he's been vital to our ball retention in the final third.
