OMT *** Tottenham Hotspur vs AFC Richmond/Crystal Palace - Sunday 27th October 14:00 ***

What irritates me is that Spurs fans would go after Ange ...
The buck stops with him. He made changes against West Ham and found a nice balance to the midfield. Next game he goes back to the same midfield that has been serving up crap. He wait's until midway through the second before making any changes when it was obvious that we needed changes. So yes, the fans are going to go after Ange, just the same way as the fans gave him the plaudits last week.

Well, as a perpetual beacon of positivity, you won't find me raging needlessly onto a computer screen. Won't change a thing. Win some, lose some. Welcome to life with Spurs.

I'm off to enjoy a healthy outlet for my frustrations - raking leaves. Un bon apres midi, mes amis. A la prochain.
I'll chime in with that we deserved to lose by 3, but lost only by 1. That's 2 goals plus on the GD.

That could be the difference between the title and runner up.

I also said this before, we other than Porro we aren't really crossing to anyone, we just hit the ball into some sort of vague general area and hope for the best. It's a brick tactic imo, I don't care what anyone thinks, it's not a title winning tactic, it's not even a cup winning one. For a coach who emphasises width so much he has pretty brick setup, I'm sorry but it's true.
I actually think an issue quality of passing being so poor
Said it did a long while but we have a lot of players who the ball at the man with poor weight of pass

That was a really awful watch. Nothing really changes. We kill ourselves with defensive mistakes and never seem to learn. We will beat brick teams but struggle against any well organised team, we are lucky that Palace aren`t that good otherwise it could have been much worse

I refer to my comments last week, that people laughed at.

Same problems, same players, same mentally.

Any team that that puts up up slightly more of an effort or defence we cant break down.

We constantly look to pay the ball into the box, randomly even if no one is their.

We rarely shoot outside of the box...

We have no plan in the final third... it's all disjointed and broken...

People need to get to the idea we are finishing 6/7.

And Ange ain't good enough, i love the philosphy, and love the winning mentally...

But he has been poor and keeps paying the same players that let us down.

When can we have Poch back?

Found it hard to create
Found it hard to pass to each other
Found it hard to move for each other
Found it hard to help each other

I find it hard to understand why?
The worry with this game is we never deserved anything (at least we played well for 45 at the Amex), never had a period where we were in top. Had halftime, then made changes... little difference.

Yes the buck stops with him and he would have it no other way.

I only saw the last two-thirds of the match. I can't build a case for even a draw from what I saw.

I still endorse that 2 or 3 of these Palace players would be good warriors for Ange. They wanted it more.

Ange also needs to start asking questions of himself about these tough, physical away games. He leaves us with a soft underbelly by his team selections. We had Dragu, Bents, Sarr, Werner and Richi on the bench. We were easily undone by their 3-5-2. He still seems inflexible about tweaking the selections and tactics for this type of game and it's costing us the points that will probably see us back in EL next season, versus CL.
