OMT *** Tottenham Hotspur vs AFC Richmond/Crystal Palace - Sunday 27th October 14:00 ***

Our crosses are more hit and hope rather the planned.
I also said this before, we other than Porro we aren't really crossing to anyone, we just hit the ball into some sort of vague general area and hope for the best. It's a brick tactic imo, I don't care what anyone thinks, it's not a title winning tactic, it's not even a cup winning one. For a coach who emphasises width so much he has pretty brick setup, I'm sorry but it's true.

That was the worst league performance from us for a while and definitely this season. Woeful. Did we create a real chance worth talking about second half? They stayed compact when we had the ball and we were lost.

The goal? I’d look at all 4 defenders and Bissouma for their part in it but truth is we were lucky not to be 2 or 3 down by 60 minutes.

Thought Porro have one of the most inept defensive performances I’ve seen in a while. Him and Udogie are a problem for us. Udogie looked like the best left back in the league a year ago. Since his injury, he’s looked very poor defensively.

This reminds me of Venables’ team in the late 80s or early 90s. Good players but hardly anyone you’d bank on. Can beat anyone, can be beaten by anyone. That probably won’t be enough for top 4. We’re flaky as the dandruff ridden…it’s who we are mate.

Well, as a perpetual beacon of positivity, you won't find me raging needlessly onto a computer screen. Won't change a thing. Win some, lose some. Welcome to life with Spurs.

I'm off to enjoy a healthy outlet for my frustrations - raking leaves. Un bon apres midi, mes amis. A la prochain.

Credit palace for kicking and fighting. They out fought us. We didnt look prepared for the fight.

The greatest concern was our lack of potency up front. We didn't convert one promising attack, and we had lots. Hit the post and fannied around. A few of the lapses from attackers were woeful. Rici clean through, Werner low on confidence clean through passes out wide etc. All credit to palace, but we should have imposed ourselves in attack.

Was it a good move to play Moore away from home? Honestly, in hindsight no. A few nice touches but he was hacked down by Palace before he got going.

After playing in Europe this is never an easy game. Disappointed by 1, our lack of preparedness for the fight, and 2. our potency up front.
