*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Wolverhampton Wanderers ***

Going back, everything pre 1995 is 42 games:

18 losses: 1996/97
19 losses: 2003/04 and 1993/94
20 losses: 1990/92
21 losses: 1976/77 and 1974/75
22 losses: 1934/35
23 losses: Not happened (yet)

I don't see anything in our leadership group that will be turned around.
Certainly the tools are there with spence, grey, Bergvall, vdv, Sarr and even Bissouma for the right guy.
We just need the right guy and to give him the backing to make decisions on who he wants and who he trusts.
I pretty much agree with the gist, although I would swap Bissouma for Maddison. Not that he has covered himself in glory, but he has shown in the past that he has skills that are hard to find. Or sell them both, I don't care. But I'd like the new guy to build around Bergvall, he is a making-it-happen'er and will in time make players around him better. Have Moore and Kulusevski flank him if they're deemed capable. Bergvall is a Swedish generational talent like Ødegaard is ours, and a real talent as opposed to the big oaf pretending to be some kind of prodigy at City. Get in a pair of CB's that have played together at or from young age, sacrifice the perennially injured VDV if necessary. I'll take another 16th if it means we are building something, and not trying to revive careers of players approaching 30 where we're just throwing handfuls of spaghetti onto the wall hoping something sticks.

Back in the winter I'd like to have seen more 'placed' media with Lange/Munn outlining the process. In January, we should've had further attaking signings lined up IMMEDIATELY, not just cheap risk-free punts in the last mins of the window.Having got Kinsky so quickly it was expected. Last summer I'd like to have seen us edge the fiunds a bit more and sign Eze as well as Gray and Bergvall. I would not have got Odobert, especially as we have Moore coming through. I'd like to have seen us sign that extra CB in the summer as well, might've allowedus to bring Romero back from the summer/short pre-season a little better plus givenus better coverage. I'd also like (and this is hindsight) to have had not overhauled the medical department so drastically; the footballing directorship have to carry the can for that debacle, that is a clear fudge-up on their part. Finally, I'd like to have seen someone savvy enough at the club to take Ange aside, tell him to sit out a conference or two (especially tight after Thursdays) and claim 'under the weather' or something and put Wells up for a couple of conferences here and there, feeding him a script to recite and thus deflecting from the mess.
My point previously is that I don't see how that's any different from Conte and Jose wanting more players and being derided for it.

Managers do press is in this country. That's not hanging out to dry that's how it works. They take the plaudits when it's going well and face the heat when it's not.

All went down hill when Chris Davies left.
He now has Birmingham, comfortable top of league one
As a matter of interest, how does he have Birmingham playing? Having had a close up look at Ange and his methods, is he replicating it? Or did he go another way because he learnt it is unsustainable?

They’ve just been beaten 0-2 in the cup final at Wembley today, so he’s shaping up to be a strong candidate for us. He obviously understands the Tottenham way.

What is points per game. If 3 points for a win?

That was my point. We are worse so far this season than when we got relegated.
