More importantly, where is the defensive solidity and structure in this team? Ange hasn’t got a clue how to set up a team to be solid and keep things tight.

And the tactics are truly awful. We never ever look solid. How many times do we concede an early goal or almost concede multiple goals in the first 10 mins? Ipswich and Chelsea away come to mind of recent games.

First off, you were replying to my thoughts/requests, not Postecoglu's.
Secondly, the difference between Postecoglu and Mourinho is that Mourinho told Levy he could do better than Poch with the squad Poch had: that's one of the ways he weasled in. The charlatan! As for Conte, I've explained my POV on him a few times, so I have to assume you simply don't agree as the differences between Conte and Postecoglu is very clear IMO. I won't even begin to re-explain my perspective on club support!!!!
What I will say is that if you think he is the only issue at the club right now, and that this is all on him, then I think you're greatly mistaken (this is not to try and excuse/mitigate his contribution to the problems).

Let's just conclude with an agreement that he is done here whatever happens Thursday or even (in miracle land) in Spain in May.

For all Ange's evident shortcomings you cannot legislate for Vicario doing what he did, Romero for being complacent and Bergvall losing the ball in a dangerous area. All 4 goals and the gift that Strand Larsen missed were all on the players.
 
Don't disagree with that @Grays_1890 but it really is basic stuff they're failing on. I'll cut Bergvall some slack as he's been our player of the year along with Gray. Gray by the way is not a rb, emergency cb yes but play him CM where he should be.

Yeh I know but if you were Vic playing behind a system that is more open than an 1980s Soho knocking shop then your confidence is going to be on the floor. We could have prime Buffon on we would have killed his progress dead with our idea of how to play and defend

100% I’d sell him whilst we can recoup some cash. Keep Richie as a squad player for a season & being in a new first choice — if he can stay fit he’s useful to bring on and harass their cbs for the last 20-30 mins. At least he gives a brick.
