He's not saying anything new, he's just stating the obvious. I think of it like this: If AVB was on the sofa and Hoddle's team was playing, we would hear exactly why the tempo is slower or why Paulinho looks sqaure often. Hoddle's just going for the obvious. I think even someone like Neville would at least attempt to see it from the incumbent manager's point of view. Although maybe not.
 
Dawson is playing on the wrong side. Hows he supposed to play that long cross field pass to the left wing?
 
Seriously, if AVB doesn't want Andros at left back then I'd consider the left footed Dembele. Naughton just doesn't cut it for me.
 
How long do back-heels have to be an effective & standard part of football before they're no longer referred to as "clever" or "little" or "unnecessarily flashy" or some other pointless adjective?
