When you change manager three times, but the theme is the same....its not the manager. Lol at all those who thought sacking Frank was the answer.

The theme is we look and have looked woeful in attack all season, lacking confidence and quality without Kulu, Madders, Kudus and Solanke for much of the season. Hard for any manager to deal with without time. Sadly it was predictable (posted it on here over and over).

Sadly I think this is all we have. None of the better guys are coming back. We are doomed, best to just accept it now.

As much as I’ll support us all the way in the hope a miracle happens, I don’t see how we do anything but go down.

The only players we have with any discernable individual, game changer talent are injured. As a squad there isn’t enough between them that we can be a good team, without the star individuals.

The table doesn’t lie, we are the third worst team in the league at least. You couldn’t see our lot winning 4-0 at Wolves, I can’t see us battling for a point at Villa. We’re relying on the idea that we can go from not winning in 2026, to winning 4 out of 7.

We were basically reliant on another team being worse than us, but we’re now below all of those teams. We aren’t good enough by any metric to get ourselves out of this, and now our help are already ahead of us.
 
Gallagher reminds me of myself on the pitch; low on quality, runs around making a nuisance of himself.

Difference is I was slightly better and no one was paying £300,000 a week for me.

Few if any of our goals come expectedly or looking as they are the result of a plan. There's the odd set piece or someone being lucky enough to be at the end of a fire-and-forget. You never have the feeling that you know where a goal will come from anymore.

Average players
+ no gameplans
+ biased refs (no game-changing decisions our way)
+ lack of belief
= relegation.
 
The must all feel everything is going against us. The penalty. The ref is a homer. Vdv pushes, free kick. Their forward pushes. Nothing. Then a wicked deflection. They are hardly quality up front themselves.

A shot would be nice though.
 
Our best performances have actually been in second halves under Frank when we were chasing games. It looked like all the tactics were thrown out the window and the players just played freely. Maybe we should go back to that type of play.

Richy had 2 1v1's
Solanke had one he should have pulled back
Solanke pulled back one Bergvall didn't connect with

None of them resulted in the keeper making anything that wasn't a routine save.
 
We're so weak, they have so much room on our left hand side. All we do is hoof it long, just have to hope we can sneak a goal from somewhere.
