OMT ** Tottenham Hotspur v Rangers ** Thursday 12 December 2024.

Is it just me??

Gray in CD when we have a CB on the bench. Yes he is inexperienced, but he wont get any if we continue not to play him
Son up top again...he isnt a Centre Forward
Porro is getting flogged to death, needs a break, but he cant get one as we wont play Spence when its a game when he is available Same with Udogie and Reguillon
And Two GKs on the bench, waste of a spot

Ah well, draw at best
No manager is throwing Dorrington into a match like this. Give him minutes if we're comfortable at the end.

McCoist is talking about Igamane (or whatever the striker is called) as though he is absolutely elite, so I imagine he'll notch a few, we'll sign him in August and he'll never be seen again.

Really important we play with confidence and show them respect but dominate them and don't show any cracks and brittleness to get their crowd going even more.

Arsenal played a 16 year old keeper in one of their games earlier this season. It's not like Dorrington is a kid, he'll be 20 in a few months.

If course we don't know what Ange is thinking, Maybe he has no real confidence that Dorrington is actually good enough.. Strange though

Not the game mate, too important (we need to ensure progress and need to get out of the bad result spiral)

Re the two GKs, I'm not sure who you think that is registered that should be on bench? think we only have 14 senior players available.

Don't disagree with the general rotation comments, but you are contradicting yourself, Son is in CF because we have to rotate Solanke, we can use Werner to give Son less time when Solanke players but we have no option for Solanke unless you really think we should start Lankshear?

Interesting, I hadn't heard of that:

Jack Porter made history in Arsenal's 5-1 victory over Bolton on Wednesday night.

Aged 16 years and 72 days, Porter became the youngest player ever to start a competitive game for Arsenal and the youngest goalkeeper to ever play in the Carabao Cup.

A goalkeeper mini-crisis led to the Hale End star being given a shock opportunity for the first team.

Arteta was unwilling to risk No.1 David Raya, who was seen limping with a bandage around his right leg following the recent 2-2 draw at Emirates Marketing Project.

Back-up goalkeeper Neto - a loan arrival from Bournemouth - is cup-tied having featured for the Cherries in their defeat to West Ham in the previous round.

Meanwhile, last season's third-choice Karl Hein is on loan at Spanish side Real Valladolid, with summer signing Tommy Setford - an £840,000 arrival from Ajax - currently injured.

It led to Porter, who made the bench in last week's Champions League draw away at Atalanta, making his senior debut.

In doing so, he made club history as the youngest ever starter for Arsenal.

Liverpool/City have done the same.
I dont think the age thing holds up if they are good enough

If we shape ourtselves tonight we could possibly qualify for the at the knock-out round tonight with the correct set of results

COYS. First game I ever saw at White Hart Lane was against Glasgow Rangers. We won that and we are going to win tonight

I went to the Friendly a couple of years ago. Big Fraser got dogs abuse that day, hope he brought his ear plugs tonight. 😝

And he hasn't been brought on in less important games. I think that tells where Ange is on him. He's not going to be thrown in for this one.
