I don't hate the idea, but I don't think it works with the calibre of player we have. It requires too high a degree of perfection from defenders and constant overloads offensively.I would argue that it's proved to not be an effective tactic
But the shield could come from the Fb's tucking in to make a 3 in front of the Cb's. That's how most teams do it now.
Then you still have your 5 attacking players but some cover.
I agree, it's unusual to have a possession based team commitment so many men ahead of the ball, as it leaves you so exposed.I don't hate the idea, but I don't think it works with the calibre of player we have. I don't think it would be outrageous to tweak things a touch and maybe not have the FBs tucking so close and so high. We just leave soon much space for the opposition to play into if they beat the press or we lose it on the attack.
Look at whenever we attacks we are always outnumbered by Forest players. They make it difficult to play against. We are the opposite, it's just too easy to get at our necks.

Nice to see I'm not the only person to see how crap we areHe's brick apparently and any form shown by him is just highlighting how rubbish everyone else is.
He can be a cheerleader on the side, offering little againNeed more from Son. Anything really.

Forest's work rate and organisation is top class. Very hard to break through.
If you attack with a 5 across the line it is. It's not working cause we don't do itNah, it's not how most teams do it. I get what you're saying, but it's not working for Spurs.
This, so far, feels a bit similar to Palace. They’re dealing with us with ease so far and we look a bit devoid of ideas and energy.
No - Forest haven’t scored the three goals you are looking for.Any joy since the goal? Haven't been watching as looked unbearable just before they scored.
