OMT ***Tottenham Hotspur v Manchester United***

We needed to up our game 2nd half, instead came out to play as we were. There wasn't the desire and belief that was needed, and those that played against wham looked a little jaded.

Crap game again at fudging old brickford! Don't know why I even bothered watching. It was always gonna end 1-0. None of the players looked like they had any belief, as usual up there. Never gonna win with that attitude. Whole fudging weekend ruined again.
 
FFS! Toothless heartless fudging display in the second half by our lads. Weak, really fudging weak. Why do we put Llorente on if we don't want him on the ball? Swing some fudging crosses in to him, for fudge's sake! He scored like 10+ of them for Swansea last season. Might as well have kept Son on if we weren't to provide him any.

Deserved this loss, unfortunately. We were fudging dog's gonads in the second half. Dire stuff.
 
What a shyte goal to concede as well. If we'd put Sanchez on for Winks, who tired, and moved Dier into midfield with Dembele, we might have been more solid. Without Kane we lacked conviction up front.

Really really poor. Second half was terrible.

Easy to say now but I thought he started with the wrong side, I’d have had Sanchez in all day long and Sissoko shouldn’t be anywhere near the starting eleven in these games.

Kane was a miss but is no excuse for how utterly toothless we were. The ball for Alli aside, Eriksen was awful and Alli was poor overall.

We created one clearcut chance during the hole game (Eriksen's pass to Alli). You'll see the prove of it in xG model which will show <1 for us.
We fully deserved a point after first half performance. We fully deserved to loose after second one.

Our players still have got problems with mentality. You could give them one more hour to score and they still won't manage it. Still they managed to concede another late goal and overall could have conceded 3 times in 2nd half.

First half Sissoko and Aurier looked like they could link up well but all the play was too deep. Quite often Aurier was passing it backwards to Sissoko who then just played a safe sideways ball into central midfield around the edge of centre circle. Safe and boring football, not what we've seen from Spurs much over the last few years.
 
Gee I nearly put my foot through the TV listening to the clam commentating on this match. Forget his name the clam he was with Jim Beglin, almost wishing the ball into the net every time United went forward. Screamed like a bitch when martial scored. We were okay, just missed a bit of luck here and there. Poch should have had Dembele on much sooner. Sissoko went back to his gormless mode. when Dembele came on, suddenly Eriksen started to see much more of the ball. Man United are nothing special and they play such a brick brand of football. Imagine having to watch that every other week?
