***OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Liverpool***

Liverpool aren't really creating much but with the possession they have in our third there's always a danger something falls kindly for them. We can keep it how it is and try to nick one or hold out for pens - if we try to attack will we leave ourselves open? Hmmm
 
Sarr and Gray off for Bergwall and Porro. Should consider moving Kulu central in some way too. We need to do something about our pourous midfield.

It looks like we have no midfield. It's just defence, No middle, then Kulu.

Ange needs to work on this midfield because no matter who we play it never seems dominant in any field. It seems like our high possession football really just came from the overload of having Udogie and Porro in the midfield space as opposed to anything the midfielders themselves are brining to the table.

A bit of a conundrum as on paper we probably like the majority of them individually but in pairings and in games it just doesn't actually seem to work. Fans were crying out for Bentancur but he's been very anonymous and ineffectual in this match and many would argue he's the best that we have.
 
Think Ange has set up well but we’re lucky to still be in this. The goal is down to Bissouma, Gray and Kinsky. Poor from all 3. Our wide players are also not working hard enough and leaving men over on the back post.

I’ve been very, very disappointed in how timid we’ve been in possession. It’s not lack of effort, we’re working hard off the ball. It’s an absolute lack of confidence and belief on the ball. We keep taking too long and going backwards. We’re also losing all the 50:50s. We need to be more aggressive because this is a bit sexy.

I can’t believe how quickly they get people around the ball by the way. It’s like Klopp has shown up with the inhalers again.

And Alan Smith is an absolute roosterwomble. “Spurs are still in this although they must feel like they are miles away”. For all Liverpool’s dominance so far, they haven’t exactly peppered our goal. Of course we’re still in it.
 
Could do with Bergvall on.
Sarr started really well, but has faded. Bergvalls ability to drive forward is needed, as is his penchant for getting under the skin of the opposition.

Son - love ya man. But you can't play at this level anymore. That said, he's defended decently. Not sure if I'd want him or Moore.
Moore towards the end of the game for sure.

I actually think he has been fine
Won the ball and passed the ball
The issue is sarr is a bit headless in this role and Biss made the mistake for their goal
