If he even used the squad better I maybe not be so inclined to see him jog on. But each game...this man just keeps on doing things when reality actually tells you different. It feels like he will keep on being ridiculous and lose

Such poor goals to concede but we see similar on regular basis. Get tackled or give the ball away as we did a number of times today and there is so much space to exploit although why one of our centre backs didn't step out to the player for their 2nd goal I have no idea.

Reggie did well when he came on which is another example of even if he has no long term future at the club, when you have so many players out injured why hasn't he been used more.

As soon as Richy went off we lost any edge up front and when we need a goal and the team have created next to nothing for 20 to 25 minutes was it not worth even considering giving Lankshear more than the 3 minutes he got in injury time?

I have no idea if Ange will survive this. I do sympathise with some of the problems he's having to deal with but I really don't think he's helped himself with some decisions at all. The problem we have is if he is sacked who is available and would want to take this on right now?

Bad times.

I mean yeah at this moment in time I’d take just about anyone over Ange but he’d be way down my list. Not that he would come, but Iraola seems the obvious choice. We’re actually such a poorly run club at the moment I’m not sure we’re an attractive proposition judging by the last couple of managerial searches.

It's his instructions that are half the problem, he's never told to sit and defend. Also, his decision making was really poor and selfish today. He was in a couple of great positions and took the wrong decision, one in particular he shot from a bad angle instead of crossing it to either Gray or Moore who were waiting for a tap in.

Not sure why we're looking to pin the Munn appointment on anyone at this stage? But obviously it's a Levy appointment that doesn't even need discussing given the structure

Levy/ENIC as a baseline has generally had us top 6 - i can understand people getting bored of that, even if i disagree but this current situation isn't his doing and is purely on the manager

Why would he come back into the game? All his agent mates have retired/been banned haven't they?

No more side hussles for him unless he returns to the old pay to play scheme. But I suspect the modern footballer would be quite happy to just get their salary and not play.

Don't worry, mate, it's all in the ups and downs of football. We'll be back up again. Who made him a Liverpool fan? Take him to some matches and get him singing with some people there. I got a Liverpool shirt and an Arse scarf as a kid (go figure), was about 6, but my cousin drilled into my head that I was Spurs, and that was it. Helped of course by watching us winning the FA Cup final.

He hired the manager and his poor decision making on the football side is why we have been lumbered with this incompetent macaron

I said before you can't expect players decision making to be good when they're fudged physically. It's why we make so many 'mistakes' (which are not the managers fault I'm told).

I'm actually surprised he lasted the mat h cause first half he was hobbling about in front of The Shelf and waving at the bench.

It’s how one acts in adversity that shows the true character. His reluctance to play Spence and Reguilon, for example. Play reguilon today and you can keep gray and dragusin together. Take kulu off even for a kid and you get more energy.

Even with a full squad he is showing he doesn’t have what it takes.
 
Where to even start? Even Ange supporters have to acknowledge that out results have been terrible for over a year now with a few notable exceptions. But I am conflicted as to weather we should sack him or give him to the end of the season. Who would we bring in anyway?
I have always thought the best time to change manager would be early/mid December. Then the new manager would have a few games to assess the squad and then a full transfer window to address things.
I fear our managers poor use of the squad and tactics over the season has left us in a very bad position. I believe a lot of our injuries could have been prevented with better rotation and not rushing players back too early. And better use of subs. Romero and VDV examples of coming back too early and getting injured again. Why was Spence not in the Europa league squad? Why keep flogging clearly knackered players? Not dropping certain players who were out of form ? I could go on and on. This really is turning into a sh*t show of a season

Don't totally agree actually. When you're knackered aren't you more likely just to cross the ball rather than keep the ball and make things more complicated. I can understand the shot when you should cross as that is about delusions of grandeur. There were another 20 incidences where Porro just didn't cross at the right time. It is clearly a blind spot in his game.

@thfcsteff talks about mental fatigue and is spot on. Lapses in concentration aligned with lack of physical reserves will lead to mistakes.

People were advocating that the amount of goals we concede has nothing to do with the style of play. There can’t be anyone left who still thinks that now surely?

We've been making individual mistakes all the way through his reign - i highlighted it early doors this season when I said that players who aren't comfortable with how they are supposed to be playing tend to make more mistakes (thinking more about tactics which should be second nature at this point v thinking about their individual game) He hasn't been able to coach his way of playing on to the players this far in, he's never going to be able to
