OMT *** TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR V IPSWICH TOWN *** Sun 10th Nov, 14:00 BST, The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

They have a brilliant left full back (going forward) in Leif Davis
They have done some great business for a club of their stature
But we have more than enough to overwhelm them if we do the basics well

Good to see Spence and Werner back on the bench in addition to the very welcome news of Romero starting.

Say what you want about his concentration levels but he's absolutely vital in us playing out from the back and Galatasaray was a chastening example of just how wrong it can go defensively when we can't get the ball up the pitch.

Because he alone has cost us several points this season because of it.

And paying out from the back is one of the biggest problems we have. We really are not very good at it and repeatedly put our selves under pressure... The problem with Romero is sometimes he takes far too long on the ball, when he needs to play quicker...

But with him playing is a more solid defence.

Quite rightly a lot of people are expecting us to win this comfortably

But I think everybody is forgetting Dr Tottenham has heard the news that Ipswich Town are now the only team in the PL without a win...I think we all need to bear that in mind

It shouldnt happen, but when its Tottenham, you can never say never

Yes, Romero holds the ball at the back for a time but that is because he is looking for a player in space - Romero is an incredibly good passer of the ball, not only that he can ping it in quickly giving the receiving player a better chance of getting away from his marker. I sometimes wonder whether Romero could play the Rodri role of defensive mid/sweeper? Even his fans accept he is not the best out and out defender.

We need to not be complacent today. We must know how to get around Ipswich making fouls, trying to break up play, trying to rile us and stop us from doing what we do best. If we can find a way to rise above that, if we can play to the level that we showed v Villa and City, then we will win. But we are NOT entitled to win, we must EARN it.

I just want to shout out Liam Delap, he's a really promising striker. Very large for his age. Dominant for England U21s. Great left foot. Brave.
Spurs like to buy 'good value' players from teams that get relegated, so I'm sure our scouts will be watching Delap and Leif Davies (sp) very closely. After all, we do need a new Davies left back next year.

I imagine they will play 5 at the back with 4 in front and try to get a 0-0 or snatch a 0-1 win i.e. we won't have the space Son/Johnson crave.

Never heard of her ever being there
But she is genuinely vocal about being a spurs fan
Recently listened to desert island discs with her and she talked about it on there

She's from Tottenham, is filthy rich and a huge fan - yet never goes to a game. Guess she's just very busy.
