Can’t make the passes as he has just lost it normally so we’re already back trackingWhen he's trying to break, he tends to have at least 2 defenders on him. Makes it neigh on impossible. We need to make a couple of extra passes to release more runners. We're too predictable. We try to break quickly, but if you just surround Son and Kane, we'll play into your hands.
Son did get an assist tonight.
Thought the ref was great overall. He let a few meaty challenges go but wasn't afraid to book anyone taking the tinkle.both amazed and delighted that Davies got away with that tackle late in the game

The last person to touch the ball, before Kane does it all by himself, doesn't really count as an assist.Son did get an assist tonight.

Fulham have not taken points off better sides than us. They have lost all their games against the sides above them in the table bar Brighton (who may end up ahead of us once they play their two games in hand). They're a midtable team and we should be performing much better than we did against them.Important result, and the structure in the second half looked improved with the 5-4-1 not sitting as deep as previously. Fulham have taken points off better than us, so while champagne isn't flowing yet, this appress to be a step in the right direction.
The thing is we are 5th in the league because Pool and Chelsea have laid an egg this season.Gary Neville talking a hell of a lot of sense.
£200m spent across two transfer windows is fully backing Conte.
5th in the Lge. Still in Champions League. Still in FA Cup.
I really think if Arsenal weren't having an unbelievable (literally unbelievable!), there wouldn't be the brain dead Levy Out chants.
Lloris got the highest rating of all our players. And I don't think it was because of his sublime passing stats. That was a comfortable win.
Lloris barely did anything.
Fulham pressed us like madmen for the first half hour, so of course they looked dangerous, but then they faded.
Hats off to our boys for getting a good, solid win at a difficult ground.

I was saying ‘take the win and move on’. I feel as if we should be winning at Fulham if we are wanting to set minimum target of top 4. Our performance wasn’t the best. We lacked creative spark and it wouldn’t have been the most exciting game for neutrals to have watched. But the most important thing is that we secured the three points. I didn’t overly celebrate as it was a good important win BUT we’re still 5th and that’s hit something a club like ourselves that wants to be the best should overly celebrate.
We need to win and then focus on our next match. We need to win so regularly that it becomes a process. That’s not to say that we don’t enjoy a win, but instead it’s to know that it is but one step in the direction that we want to be taking on a much more regular basis. We can’t be celebrating mediocrity but must be pushing for a minimum of top 4. Once we get that we can celebrate, refocus over the summer and go again with the target of winning the league. My mindset is probably too bold and ambitious but let’s aim for the stars and not forget important words spoken by the legendary Sir Bill Nicholson:
‘If you don’t win anything, you’ve had a bad season’
‘Spurs have got to be the best in the land, not the second best’
‘It’s magnificent to be in Europe, and this club – a club like Tottenham Hotspur; if we’re not in Europe…. we’re nothing. We’re nothing.’
‘It is better to fail aiming high than to succeed aiming low. And we of Spurs have set our sights very high, so high in fact that even failure will have in it an echo of glory.’
So let’s heed those words and go and kick on from here. Last night was just about three points and building towards syccess. Now let’s go, work hard, and get that success.
What Nicholson said was true at that time but the footballing world has changed beyond recognition and without limitless funds it's impossible to compete with the super rich for a sustainable time.
