***OMT - Tottenham Hotspur v Expensive Stoke***

What we miss
And it showed massively yesterday is that player who will do something unpredictable
Teams who have players who do the same thing game after game become easier to manage
We know what Arsenal will do game after game hence why they have regressed despite spending on their squad
We know what city will try and do … same issue. They have no one doing anything different
Pool have players doing some clever stuff to change things like gakpo
Palmer at Chelsea does exactly that
For Saudi Sportswashing Machine it’s Gordon and isak
These kind of players are the gold dust that changes games and we don’t have anyone

We had it last year and lost it. At times we were unplayable, a joy to watch, free flowing, almost off the cuff moves cutting through teams as we went from one end of the pitch to the other.
IMHO some players have killed it.

A great player should look to move on
If they believe they are better than us
It’s a good thing provided they are at that level

If we're not matching their ambition level I totally agree, and we haven't so I don’t blame those that have moved on.
The issue is those that have been left behind have never stepped up.
None of the players mentioned above were never seriously pursued by bigger clubs, why?
They have the talent, didn't have the attitude.
Imv of course.

Yep
Some players want 5 touches when 1 will do
That’s partly confidence, partly natural way they play
Maddison is a brilliantly footballer but always goes left
If he goes right he will take 4 touches, lean back and arc a pass. That means he is predictable and telegraphed.
Kulu lives nothing better than keeping the ball and beating a man then trying to dink in a little slide rule pass in a compact space… never works really
Johnson will hit it hard and low and it gets blocked a lot
Son won’t even hit it half the time now
That’s our 4 main attacking threats
Then you have porro hitting crosses
The cleverest play all game yesterday from either side was the since outside foot cross for Solanke which teethy did brilliant to put out for a corner

Been saying it for years, settlers, that what we attract.
Talented players, but not driven players.
The ones we stumble upon, Modric, bale, Harry, walker, Carrick et Al all move on.
For all that I loved them look at Jan, Dembele, Eriksen, Toby, they got too comfy here, no real expectations to step up and win.

I think only Eriksen got really cosy here and that was actually because he wanted to move and wasn't allowed to so he gave up. The others gave their all and consistently delivered strong performances.

1 win in 31 at Arsenal
1 win in 31 at Anfield
1 win in 34 at Chelsea

That's 3 wins in 96 away league games to those clubs. You can't blame Ange and this side for much of that but it does tell a lot about our club unfortunately.

Really is infuriating how the Goons prevented us doing a league double over them even back in Pochettino’s heyday but our players don’t seem to have that same level of hatred for our old enemy and this is the first time that we’ve lost 3 consecutive league games to them since (Gazza scored his first goal for us) 1988!

Hopefully having a few club trained players come up through the ranks in years to come shall help the new recruits realise that being “too passive” in a NLD is utterly unacceptable and we’ll at least battle them to a stalemate even when we’re out of form; just like how our teams during the 1990s managed to do despite being mid-table mediocrity.

Really does help having some HG okayed in these games
Could see it with Kane and also dier and dele who effectively grew up here

Let's get it right.

There is only one common denominator here. Only one failure

25 years...a quarter of a century. One single person has master minded this failure.

One person. Let the simps defend him.

I know who is the failure here. Who is at fault. Who has wasted our money. One fool.

Lol. I don't care anymore. But I am happy to point out the emperor without clothes. An inept chairman. A useless person. A nepo baby. He has spent billions. None of his moneys.

Keep paying him

Just lol.

Looking forward to seeing you and your 5 mates at the next "€NIC OUT!" protest

Which one are you? If I had to guess, the bloke at the front in the beanie.

Though the style of your posts are more "bought a plain white t-shirt and wrote "ENIC + LEVY OUT" in slanted, outlined text"

I'm one of the tens of thousands that tapped out long ago.

I'm an intelligent person. I can see when I'm being rinsed. The very idea I'll go to his stadium is an anathema to me.

'its my one club, my only club'

fudging joke.

You keep going. Levy loves folks like you.

Keep paying the highest sports prices in the world.

So sad

I live in Japan mate, the most money I give to Spurs is buying a kit or two each season.

I did get the chance to meet your mate last year though. Top man, had a great chat about fleecing fans like you just for the wind up.

So you know fudge all then.

You're link is from 2012

I'd love to see anyone that genuinely knows about spurs and it's history to really support what Levy has done to our team..

25 years of failure. A team as big as us. The laws of average says we win something. The money this fool has spent. Our money btw. It's all our money. There is no investment apart from uncle Joe who took the COVID money.. no money.

We are the most in debt club in the world apart from Barcelona.... but....but ... but it's leveraged....it's still debt.

AHH fudge it. If you don't know you don't care. Levy is inept.
