***OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Brighton, White Hart Lane, Sat April 18th, 5.30pm***

So much better in attack without Richy
Not too bad in defense without Romero

Porro ...good in attack (scored) but questionable in defense (mitoma unmarked for the goal)

Quick transitions is fun to watch

Best half of football in 2026.

The signs are there. We are looking much better. We just need players pressing from the front and keeping the ball there. Two players are not contributing there. Yet again it's 9 vs 11. Danso is by far our best defender. If he isn't there, I'm worried

Some observations

Bentancur pushing forward with the ball is needed more
Muani might be worse than Johnson
Xavi great ball for the goal. He needs to learn he's not going to beat players running in straight lines though. Had to square it to Muani for the tap in. fudge knows what would have happened next though.

This game is a good example of what is meant when we say our players aren't technically good. The amount of poor touches etc is crazy.

We can win.

At least we’ve reminded ourselves we actually can score goals.

Solanke is having his best game in a while (low bar), Xavis been good, Bentancur too (expecting him to tire) Gallagher again, best performance in a while.

Porro seems to think that if he does something good, he must find a way to balance it.

I’d rather more or less anyone than Muani to be honest.

Probably our best half in a while (albeit, a low bar again).
