So Bissouma has just got the second yellow in the AFCON quarter final. Mali are 1-0 down.
Looks like Biss is on his way home.
Laughing all the way to the plane, no doubt. And then on the plane. And in his house when he gets home…

He probably heard about all the injuries and thought if I can get back to Hotspur Way by Monday and get into the good books of Frank I will have a decent chance of getting in the starting XI for the Hammers game
He's got time still to jet over and make the line-up tomorrow (3-4 hour flight?). Blimey, LWB made our bench a few weeks ago a couple of hours after he'd played for the U21s.

Biggest game of the season for me. Not going to win the league nor are we going to get relegated. Winning the Champions League equally unlikely. Winning that trophy last season was the greatest feeling as a football fan despite how poor we'd been all season and it would be great to replicate that again.
And we are Tottenham Hotspur. We have a special relationship with this cup. Or at least we did. We need some feel good factor back and trophies is the way to do that.
Not that we stand much chance of course. Winning the FA Cup involves beating harder teams than winning the Europa last season. No matter how good it felt.

I would rather see Dane Scarlett start up front rather than Muani. When I was a kid (many years ago) I used to absolutely love the FA cup. It was the only time there would be live games on tv and on final day the main stations used to devote nearly the whole day to coverage starting with interviews with supporters on the buses going to Wembley. Lots of ups and downs as a Spurs supporter, but moments like the commentators famous words "Is Gascoigne going to have a crack? Oh he is you know" is one that will be in my memory forever.
Oh to have a run in the cup like 1991, but I wont be betting my life on it this season lol
The Start of the FA cup losing it`s magic was started by Manchester United when as Title Holders they opted out of the Cup to participate in the Fifa club world championship. Was it 1999/2000? Unfortunately in Football money talks
