*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v AFC Bournemouth ***

I'm ok with that but I bet we are in a very small minority of Spurs fans who see Bournemouth as our roll model, lots will love it for awhile but after a time our next manager will be "clueless" unless we win something.
Southampton were our role model in 2014, and we took it on, suped it up, and did amazingly well for the next 5 years

I don't think so, we've never been a team that wins things regularly. We're a team that competes and competes with style. Any Tottenham fan signs up to that on Day 1.
We'll get to semi finals and sometimes finals and as long as we compete when we do, people will take that. Beating the teams we 'should' beat and competing against the teams that our better than us will havee sleeping peacefully.

A team being lower than us doesn't mean that they haven't innovated and half a model and structure we can use and implement with better resources to produce a greater outcome.

I was offered a free one by a mate who can’t go. Politely declined. Six hour round trip to watch our current set up? No thanks. I struggle to stay focused watching our endless sideways and backwards passing on TV. And if I want to watch a clueless manager standing on the sidelines I can go down the local park.

Relatively, it cost a lot less, even 10 years ago. It’s a £100 day out now mínimum. That’s a lot to pay when the quality is so low, as it has been for over a year now, bar the odd flash in the plan. Don’t blame anyone for saving their cash.

People are giving away tickets on Reddit as well. I'd personally love to drive 6 hours round trip to watch a game, even today, but I understand why you won't obviously.

Wonder what Legend they have giving Iraola the stadium tour after the game?
Hopefully the Hazard and Ardiles dream team.

Hazard because he ouzes passion for the club as much as the biggest of fans. And Ardiles for the debonair charm and because Iraola may have some emotional connection to the great 70/80s Argentina sides (colonial cousins and all that)

Generally speaking I think Spurs fans do get behind the team. When they see their efforts getting behind the team going to waste most home games now they make think 'why bother?
Been 'Ange in' all the way but even I'm starting to have serious doubts about him and his project, some of the football bar the odd game here and there has been pretty dire.

He said he has a ticket and will and choose not to go because the team isn’t doing well. I make no apologies for judging that. Supporting a team isn’t just for when it’s easy to do so.

I'm ok with that but are the real fans want to win things unlike Pochettino who won nothing and had no plan B and he lost the team. Not my belief but I've read it regularly on here. At the end of the day any manager we employ will be hated if he doesn't win things within an unspecified time.

I agree but don't think people will take not winning something, they want to be Liverpool, Woolwich, Emirates Marketing Project and have the media licking their arse plus taking tinkle out of other fans.

The 'it' as far as I understood it was managed in what's perceived as a top league, against the best tacticians who have the top players and had results that are par for the course or have his team slightly punching.

I have never read or heard anyone saying that Pep, Klopp or Carlo are the only options.
Exactly.
Slot hasn't "done it in a big league" either.....well, he looks to be showing promise 😂

Imagine the disappointment of only being the 2nd best team in the world again, when we've settled in so nicely to being a bottom third in england side
