*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v AFC Bournemouth ***

The players are the problem. They simply don't want to turn up against the "lesser" sides. They don't want it enough, unless it's City on the other half of the pitch.
Then I don't know how you change it. Jose couldn't, Conte couldn't. And Ange won't either

You are a footballing GHod and we should all bow down to your superior knowledge and the balanced way in which you present your genius points. Please get a podcast going, as I'm sure it will be the top podcast in the world in no time at all.
Yes, yes I am.

Why the fudge didn’t Spence start? Not that it would have made much of a difference, but something fishy is going on. Not having a proper wing back messes up our positioning big time.

I do wonder about the general culture at the club. Attitude of both staff & players.

No, it's the wildly inconsistent performances from some of our players. Tactics aside, no manager can teach or motivate you to remember the basics of football. This team has shown that they can be brilliant at times. I don't care how much they say they love Spurs and that they feel at home with us on Instabook or whatever, I want to see it on the pitch every single game. Win or lose.

The reason I say Ange is not the main problem, is that we have all seen this movie before. It starts as a hoot, evens out with a few laughs here and there, but it ends badly and you leave sad and depressed until the next movie comes along. It doesn't matter who's the director, it seems.
Ange is part of the problem at this point. We want to win the league or seriously threaten top 4 and you can argue Levy isn’t doing enough.

But fact is we are 10th. We’ve been getting that level of results for over a year now. That’s as bad as we’ve been for 2 decades pretty much. We are underachieving even with the squad we have. That’s on Ange I’m afraid.

He deserves time but the pressure is on and rightly so.

But in this moment in time....they look clueless with every attack we suffer. And that seems to be coaching.

we won't mind losing it's that tinkle poor effort. Like someone said before we have moments of great play like 40min of a game

I`m all for giving manager a chance but I really cant see any changes or improvement after all the time Ange has been in charge. The same rigid system week in week out and the same mistakes game after game. What`s that one win in our last 6 games? And on another day City could have been 2-0 up before we scored but luckily we went on to win, but our last couple of perfomances have been really poor. We have lost 6 games in the league already, so if we do end up challenging for the top 4 it will be a miracle IMHO

Levy / board has backed Ange more than any manager in our history

He's had a ton of money spent on good players and potential

The squad isn't perfect, but it's not as bad as being made out and recent results.

He's refusing to use what resources he has - Gray/berg/Lank all promising youngsters - apart from Gray tonight have been given zero chance.

I don't think Spence is great, but he's not been given any minutes either.

It's not entertaining , he's not getting results and there is little/no improvement.

He just has to weed out the actors who can't act or isn't right for the part.
I think we're in Police Academy 10 territory at this point.

Just mulling this over. How bad/ or how long would it have to be like this for Levy to pull the trigger?

Arsenal sat very low under Arteta for a while.

The more you watch Emirates Marketing Project the more you have to realise that result was more about how bad they were. Even saying that they could have been at 2 up I. Those first 10-15 minutes...after that they were really poor and have continued to be really poor. It kind of devalues the result tbh.
The result was absolutely fantastic.

But we really needed to push on from on that result and get a string of wins to push on with.

We didn't, we just reverted to type and squandered a fanastic opportunity moving forward. As I said at the time, it was great result, but we need to to win the next match or it will be meaningless.

Yet, some squib, said my post was a kneejerk and the win showed the squad had "matured"... :tearsofjoy: Yet my post was a kneejerk.

We play absolutely clueless football, nobody knows what they are doing, it's chaotic, passes are wild, even when we win the mjority of the time, at least one half was go awful, or we had to come from behind.

There are serious problems at Spurs... But apparently most things I say are kneejerk... That are ulitmnately correct.

Next summer is far away. If he got rid of the wasters and sorted us out, great, but I no longer believe he will.

In your opinion
