K.O - 20.00pm

Vicario
Porro Danso VDV Spence
Sarr Bentacur Palhinha
Kudus Richy Simons

Tough tough game but I feel we will prevail 2-1

I've left Cuti out as he has a minor injury and don't want a 4G pitch making that worse

Banana skin. Bodø/Glimt will be wanting revenge for the semi final loss, and they're also a team that thrives on learning and developing.

They will be better prepared this time around, but in a sense so will we with a new manager and a better structure - quite a bit different from when we played them last time (although Ange went defensive in the latter stages of the EL).

I'd go -

Vic

Porro
SuperKev
Davies
Spence

Bentancur
Gray
Bergvall

Johnson
Tel
Odobert

Not the best 11 but a protective one. A point here would be fine. Hope that 11 is enough to craft a win somehow. It protects VdV, Sarr, Simons, Richy, which is very important IMO

EDIT: I have been reminded by Brain that Tel is not registered; don't mind me, the memory/challenger dodderer in the corner LOL...I hope we do not start Richy and find a way to play a 'false' 9 in this case, or even let Scarlett have a run!

Tel isn't registered, otherwise I quite like your suggestions. Though I think it will be a bit more "first choice" heavy, VdV, Kudus, Simons etc.

Would like to see a somewhat more risky/ambitious on the ball lineup than we've mostly gone for this season as you suggest in midfield. Get two of our more creative players on the pitch out of the three in midfield essentially.

Glimt are good, will be a tough game I think. But I also think some of our better creative players should be able to get joy in a game like that.

I keep forgetting that re: Tel LOL...I just forsee us flogging Richy into an injury unless we do something 'false 9'ish in that case...

Johnson is best at running and scoring so I would sit back, soak up a bit of pressure, play Brennan as centre forward and just lump it up to him to run to and score....

Simple.

And if Solanke and Muani were available, and Kinsky wasn't included you'd be saying it was stupid not naming another keeper.

I said it when we were naming the squad a few weeks ago, so it isnt reactionary.

Keepers get injured far far less, so its just a probability game. Id rather have the option of Tel than the risk of Austin

Is the youth game, that's currently being played, streamed anywhere? Thought the uefa youth matches were available on the Spurs app, but can't find anything there

Don’t think it was on spurs play at kick off but looked again about 70mins and it was.

The camera side of the pitch it looked like the artificial surface has a few creases in it.

There are, and they were there when we played them in the semi as well.

Genuinely back at the Ange league form stage of expectations right now. Not expecting anything from us at all. We have picked up one point in our last three league matches and only scraped a win thanks to Villarreal’s mistake. Not including the league cup match.

We seem to create very little. We have possession but haven’t yet clicked in the final third. There are some positive signs but there is a lot of work that’s needed. I back us but just have zero expectation.
