Not directly his fault and agreed on Davis. But it’s a massive problem Winks has . He did not need to be so cautious and play backwards. It’s his default mode. He needs to be braver on the ball.

It was a proper fudge up from Davies, but Winks had plenty of other opportunities! But he always wants to pass it fudging backwards! His first though is always "how can I pass it back to the CB's or GK?"
He's become totally inept!
