OMT: Spurs v Chelsea Thursday, 8pm at Stamford Bridge

With the right manager there isn't a need for a rebuild. A couple of players need replacing, but that will be the case every season.
As for manager, I've no particular preference, possibly Terzic. I'm not really sold on Iraola.
Terzic is weak
The way he blew the title was so so bad
He also is another system guy
We can’t get a manager who plays a system again

If we're not playing it two seasons in then a lot of questions need to be asked of the manager.
He is gone on the summer if not sooner
But this is the players not doing things that they have done before
They are either downing tools, too tired or broken
I’d say the lack of leaders in the team doesn’t help either

When we want to attack, we make it seem almost impossible.
Eventually after lots of faffing around we get it to Maddison, who always passes to Son.
Son always looks keen, bursts, feints left then jinks inside as Udogie overlaps, then rolls it inside to someone who is unsure what to do and faffs around who gives it back where it came from.
Then if we're lucky someone will slide it into Udogie who is offside.

It's a pretty good system; I can't understand why we never get a shot on target.

So they play in a system. Thank you.
they play multiple systems
You said managers play a system. That’s singular
It’s why I said on here yesterday I’ve really warmed up to frank
He played a very different way to get them up to how he has played in the prem. he has adapted to the players he has

The left side is where is goes to die
It’s scarily predictable because the players are so one dimensional

The system he has played in the premier league is more or less the same with tweaks. I like Frank as a person but his football is horrible and wouldn't want it here. It's also a huge change from Anges style, I want us to be more consistent with our manager choices and their style of play, and not huge changes between managers.

His football in the championship was very very good
I did my research after reading up on it
I want a a manager who is flexible
Poch got the best out his saved when he flipped between a back 3 and a back 4
Pep showed his flexibility when he started putting FBs into midfield and brought a striker who only scores goals and doesn’t do the other stuff he likes
It’s exactly why arteta wont win anything of nite now because he only plays one way
SLott has changed his ways at pool with the same players they had last year
That flexibility is what gets you over the line

Agreed. Even Jose could apply 3 different tactical systems in a single game. He would train his players that way.

Poch's system was subtle though. There isn't really much difference between Dier dropping in and making the 3 and having Dier to the right of the 3 from kick-off. It was normally Son that made way, allowing Eriksen and Dele to be further up.

Conte was the worst though. He won Serie A playing 3-5-2 and only he knows why he thought that 3-4-3 would work in the PL. I never saw us win a midfield, but saw some great performance from Bentancur. Mostly we were owned in the middle of the parr, then played rop a dope until the middle of the second half. Kane and Son did the rest. That was no solid foundation and no surprise it fell apart.

I'm sensing we're now finally exposing Ange's level as beneath PL top 4 though. Even Nuno is back up there like he was at times with his Wolves side. We'll probably find that most of the names spoken about are an upgrade on Ange.

We played Ange ball at the start of this season
Like we did last season
But it’s dead now
What your seeing a genetic 4-3-3 with no leaders
No creativity
And a defence that can’t make any decisions for themelsves

At the beginning of this season? I don't think that's the case as we were labouring to wins without looking very convincing iirc

We were okaying Ange ball though
Fans may not want to recognise it but we had full backs inverting and crosses across the box
High pressing in a coordinated way too
It’s why Brennan was scoring for example
But that’s died as players were injured and we haven’t seen a spark of it
