:lol: have to agree. Although must admit Alan Wake isnt too bad graphically... Find that many games i may have played on console look almost 5x better on full a 1080p PC monitor. But then thats prob coz most console games are only 720p or less
 
So looks like I'll be getting Diablo 3 somepoint this weekend as i was paid a whopping 400 quid more than i expected this month... Which considering the bills are all covered thats 400 spends!!!! Love suprises like that ;)

Also couldnt be bothered to dig up the Battlefield 3 thread so thought id post it on here that this weekend for PC users is double XP weekend! See you on the Battlefield/killing demons? Whichever
 
Thanks, mate but rather save it for someone else - I'd have very little for it atm. Diablo is not a very popular game in my part of the woods

This post reminded me of a game on PS2 but couldn't remember the name as it was a Ghosts and Goblims remake yet not the same name.

Found it tho, was called MAXIMO: Ghosts and Glory... was solid!!!

I know they're making the guest passes free relatively soon, but I'm trying to get my friend to play it...

In regards to BF3, I've actually been craving it after going on a long FPS hiatus. Although if I think about it, I'm just going to go from mashing my mouse buttons on demons and imps to mashing them on people's faces. I have it too good.
 
Didnt realise the Diablo 3 starter pack is more like a head-starter pack as when you upgrade to the full version you start from the beginning again but with your leveled up character including the Templar who follows you on the Skeleton king quest. So when you get to that bit again you end up with 2 Templars briefly lol.

Just seen trailer for the new "Medal of Honor: Global Warfighter" game... Seems they are going the down the COD route with this one. Huge scale war across the whole world just like in MW, unlike the Medal of Honor that came out a couple years ago that focused on the very real conflict of Afgahnistan making it stand out from the crowd. Now it's decided to blend in with the crowd and attempt to be the EA COD. Shame as I was looking forward to it, hoping it was gonna remain in Afgahn, probably not... Although I have heard rumour that it follows straight on from the last MOH and will take place in Afgahn, Somalia and other places.

Plus some interesting multiplayer news is you'll be able to play allied factions against each other... such as Navy Seals vs SAS or Polish vs German, etc

Trailer looks decent tho, graphics very nice (using BF3's Frostbite 2 engine no doubt)

New Tomb Raider looks fantastic!!! Looks like they have gone for an Uncharted style gameplay.

Tomb Raider doesn't look like a Tomb Raider game, so I'm interested in it.

I need to get Max Payne III. Next one up for me after that is probably going to be the next Far Cry.

Yeah this is what I thought, more like Uncharted than Tomb Raider... Which is a good thing!!

And I'll certainly be getting both MP3 and FC3 this year! I've heard MP3 multiplayer is pretty decent too... Out now on PC but may wait till it drops sub ?ú20

I've heard the MP3 multiplayer is the best part of the game, the singleplayer not all that great.
 
Call of Duty: Medieval lol... Well thats what it looks like. A Medieval Multiplayer game based on the War of the Roses. And tbats what its called too. Looks decent tho... Hrres the E3 video

Kinda wish that there would be modern versions of more of those, there already is with some, but maybe the magic of remembering how good those were would be lost when playing the modern equivalents.
