So the new PS5 Pro comes out, I find that odd considering there are virtually no real decent games out to play on the normal one. Odd

Anyone managed to get Flight Sim 24 working yet?

My eldest is desperate to play but it appears that overloaded servers are making it impossible to even download the in-game content.

I am travelling alot more for work, plenty of 12 hour flights and all that, so was thinking of investing in a steam deck or Lenovo go, anyone have, any insights, any advise?

back on call of duty been a while. as i mentioned before i cant really get into games anymore due to family life so just need something i can pick up, smash, and put back down. always been fairly decent so easy enough.

I'm playing Shadow Tactics Blades of the Shogun at the moment, it's bloody excellent. If you ever played Commandos back in the day, it's like that, only much better.

Been playing a lot of Stalker 2 recently. The game is good, but has a lot of issues they need to fix.

Anyway, seeing as it was an Unreal Engine game, I thought I could use UEVR software to inject VR into the game.

Whilst doing a bit of research... I found this video, of this guy, playing the game in VR, and I went straight to the point I knew something would happen. And it did, I died laughing my arse off...

The video starts where the fun begins.

Brought one for the family at Xmas 2023
Still played with on a daily basis now, been a brilliant addition to the family

Yeh they are good fun for pick up and play. Issues with it (maybe with new too) is that unless you play marioesq games or like the Japanese style games, there is not much else, which is fine for say my sons age.

I might get a more powerful handheld for travels

My boys love their switches but I find them a nightmare for setting up all the accounts and stuff. They need a Nintendo account, a Fifa account to play ultimate team etc., An Epic games account for Fortnite etc. I can't keep up with it anymore! One kid just has to play Fortnite while using the others account because I can't be arsed to figure it out anymore lol

But yeah, Mario Kart, Mario Party, anything Mario related is good fun. Well worth the investment. Although as they are getting older they are moving towards ipad/tablets more so they can flip between gaming and YouTube. It's a shame the Switch doesn't have browsing and other apps.
