First series of Curb is awful in terms of acting and production. I didn't get into it until series 9, then I went back and watched it all. I wondered why I hadn't got into it sooner, but if I'd watched series one and been put off, I can see why.Could never get in to Curb - love Seinfeld though which has it's obvious links/similarities
Yeh it's grainy, badly acted and poor to start. By the end it's generational with some of the best cameos and comedy moments of TV history IMO. Subtle and in your face in equal measures and I think if you can be cynical and miserable in life at times as I can be, you see Larry in yourself, which is part of the funFirst series of Curb is awful in terms of acting and production. I've never seen the appeal of Seinfeld!I'll eventually get round to giving it a proper go - i didn't get in to Seinfeld till recently after it was added to Netflix tbf but powered through and now rank it near my top for comedies.
Which do you rate higher? Same question to @Grays_1890
