**Official Other Games Thread, Season 2012/13**

Mourinho and Ronaldo have not spoken for months. Nothing new there.

As for Kompany, straight after the match, I thought he was going to empty his bag and let everyone know his feelings known about others players not wanting it as much as him.

Well done Wigan, nice guys win, hope they can keep that up v l'arse. Something i've missed, but What's happened to el habsi their keeper ? Robles did an admirable job I read.

Benfica's first loss in the league this season, Porto still unbeaten and now one point ahead. Final round next weekend, sandwiched between two cup finals for Benfica. Porto have only got the league.

Truly amazing on many levels. I assume you watched on the box; how did Moutinho play today in such a big game?

Can't say I paid enough attention to notice. Far too much rolling around in "agony" and moaning at the ref to stay glued to the screen.

Mancini on the rumours on his future: "I don't know why the club didn't stop this.

If it's true we will see in the next two weeks. If it's not true, you wrote a lot of stupid things for six months. If it's true, I'm stupid because I didn't understand anything about this.

But I am sure I work with serious people and I'm sure I did a good job, even if we lost this final. Two weeks, maybe one week. Next Sunday. The season will finish. I will know if it's true or not."

As dignified a response as he could have given imo

is anyone else frustrated how the "small" teams dont get the result/have the luck when it benefits spurs, i thought villa today were nailed on for a draw, arse have won all their games by one goal, cant wait to see wigan go 1 up by tuesday and then the scum get an iffy penalty and win 2-1.

but i am pleased bricky are going to win nothing this season -, two fingers to the arabs

Barca are La Liga champions! Ahem, Arc, we never agreed on a fee so I'd be happy if you just admit Real Madrid aren't the best team in European football :p

Very well deserved win. Hope Wigan stay up, very good club, very likeable. They were so much better than us today that it was admirable rather than embarrassing.

Really hope this win encourages some more people to buy a season ticket there now. You know you're going to be watching good football and are going to be entertained, and it's one of the cheapest tickets in the league: Premier League or Championship.

Also fun to see another club win a trophy before Arsenal.

Mate, first off maximum respect for coming on here after today, you seem like a decent bloke (compared to every other city fan that's come on here who have either been deluded or arrogant because of the lottery win.)

But.... isn't it the managers job to make sure the players don't go out there with that attitude? can you imagine Ferguson or Mourinho's teams going out like that? I personally think Mancini is holding you back from being genuine winners, he's a default winner, love hearing your fans sing his name, it just prolongs the relative underachievment.

completely agree with your last line, love swansea and wigan winning cups this year if we're not going to.

They have this season but I take your point about Mancini

Watching the highlights now, Vincent Kompany is just a sheer class guy, only City player clapping Wigan and being aware enough to go out of his way to congragtulate Whelan.

Saw 60 minutes of the game then the late night highlights. One thing that stood out was the whole Emirates Marketing Project management team congratulating Wigan in a professional and honourable manner. I know it possible smacks of we will be here again and I don't doubt some will but it also shows a professionalism rarely seen at those points in finals.

I don't rate Mancini one but but at least he had dignity. I can name several managers who would have kicked a bottle or two in tha situation

This. Imagine if it was Chelski, Arsene's lot or a Mourinho team..

I have no idea what it was this evening, maybe it was the magic of the FA Cup, maybe it was the fact that the lottery winners didn't win absolutely anything, maybe it was the fact that Martinez managed to get this low budget team to an FA Cup final and win it. I don't know, but I was just very chuffed for Wigan Athletic after there FA Cup win.

I thought they played brilliantly, caused problems for a Emirates Marketing Project side who were chasing the title for the majority of the season and I know if they can play like that on Tuesday, they will end up doing us a favour. The problem is, they will no doubt play like brick.
