**Official Other Games Thread, Season 2012/13**

Do Galatasaray travel everywhere with such good support? I noticed loads of them in the lower tier at the Bernabeu. Also saw quite a few dotted around in various parts of the Veltins Arena when they played Schalke.

There's a reason Germany usually award the 12 points to Turkey at the Eurovision, but there's probably a fair few that travel as well.

Fernando Torres has scored more goals this season than Rooney, Hernandez, Tevez, Aguero, Dzeko, Ba, Giroud, Defoe, Cisse & Lukaku!

The 4 best teams in Europe are Barca, Bayern, Real and Dortmund. But after watching German teams bottle it spectacularly in the last 15 years, it wouldn't shock me if both German sides went out.

Hopefully Barca play Dortmund in the next round, that would a cracking game, and then set up the possibility of an all-German or all-Spanish final.

With Bale's injury, we badly need a favour from other teams to stay in the top 4 race. Not expecting much but hope WBA and Sunderland can do something against Arsenal and Chelsea respectively.

We don't need favours from anyone - we are ahead of our rivals (in 4th if Chelsea win the game in hand) meaning WE are in the driving seat

That said it would be nice if West Brom make up for Fulops performance last season. . .

Actually, Chelsea, Arsenal, Everton and ourselves are all in control of our own fates. Win all the remaining matches and you get champion's league. Those head to head encounters are massive.

Spot on.

Thats what makes tomorrow such a big game, a win for us tomorrow gives us a big cushion over Everton, because make no mistake, they are still in the hunt for CL football, the fact they still have to play us,Arsenal and Chelsea, granted all away, means they still have a say.
Even a defeat for them tomorrow doesnt rule the out, which is good for us with them having a trip to Emirates very soon. Another defeat that night and they will be out of the equation

McManaman is such an awful commentator. Not only is he scouse and has a whiny voice, but he talks absolute gonads most of the time. As usual I've had to turn the sound off. Lasted all of 25 minutes this time, usually don't last that long. There are quite a few other commentators that annoy me, but this is the only pairing I regularly have to mute.

Reading win today could have dragged Southampton into the relegation zone. Southampton win on the other hand should hopefully mean that they're mathematically by the time we play them in a few weeks time. It'll be their 3rd last game as well so late enough on that players might well have thought on their summer hols

They're important but winning the games which you 'should' win are probably even more key.

Am expecting Bale and Lennon to miss the Man C game as well however if we can get 2-3 points from the next 2 league games that'll mean we're on 59 or 60 with 5 games to play. Given that 70 is usually enough for 4th that means we'd need 10 or 11 points (ie 3 wins) from our final 4 to probably get 4th. We'd have to back ourselves to win 3 of Wigan, Stoke, Sunderland and Southampton and a point at the bridge would be fine

As long as Fulop's not in goal.

Southampton play better football than we do, they'll be top half next season.

What a load of brick. Everyone knows Arsenal's defence can be bullied, the perfect game for Lukaku and he's on the bench!
